Once again the Stevenson Motorsports Racing Team has put on one hell of a show. The team once again greeted me and all other race fans with open arms. Andrea, who is one of the pit mechanic's had invited me into the pits to see the race from a perspective that I thought I would never get to see. I had the opportunity to chat with SMPDUDE a fellow Camaro5 Guy about the race at the glen, there practice laps and everyone on the team couldn't stop talking about how much they appreciate there fans, and all of the comments that have been posted here on Camaro5.com. From what I have been told that you will be seeing more of the team members popping up on here on various threads to get feedback from everyone here on Camaro5. One more bit of good news, and i might set up a seperate thread on this one. As a fan appreciation stevenson motorsports, would like to do a "meet and great" at the Mid-Ohio event. If they get enough interest they want to have a small event where our cars will be allowed out with there cars, for photo's and what ever else they have in mind. So contact Stevenson Motorsports or SMPDUDE about the Mid-Ohio event, and we'll get a motorcade out to the event!!!

Serious business. Can we see these races on Speed? I love watching *real* "stock cars" race. They should rename NASCAR from "stock car" racing to "absolutely nothing stock about them" racing.

Motorhead, first, I love the t-shirt! I wish I had pit access at one of those races. I'd be grinning like an idiot. I was thinking of making a signature banner that said something like "Support Camaro road racing" and have images of the Stevenson Camaros in it.

Oh yeah, one of the Camaros is making a move! They are interviewing the Stevenson team manager on TV as he is doing it!

IMHO, historically muscle car owners have eschewed road and endurance racing.

They did awesome I agree. From what i have been told the full race should be re-aired next week on speed. The Speed Channel Guys were in the Stevenson Pit alot, cause one of the lead pit crew members, used to be a commentator for speed channel. So they love to talk to the Stevenson Team. BTW glad you like the shirt, i get alot of comments at the track.

The Gentlemen standing to the left of me in the white shirt in one of the shots BTW is Mr. Stevenson himself, he too is a down to earth guy and loves to come right down to the pits and cheer on his team. Oh another gentlemen by the name of Mr. Lutz, I believe most of you know who he is, was also in the pits as well checking in with all of the camaro teams to get feedback on his car!
