there is a big east coast race open to all IRS rwd gm cars .

i doubt youll find many L99 drivers thatll butcher their cars and have over 350lbs of weight reduction and chuck the interior just to run it down the track. Most people here seem reasonable and like racing their cars in the respectable condition that they actually drive it in.

Getting rid of all that unnecessary weight in the interior just to beat someone in a race? Noooooooooooooooot worth it.

like i said it is a lot of work ,the work is free.
and it is not a butcher job ,nothing is damaged,it all goes right back in .

i havent spent a lot of money , and i still enjoy my car.
i run mid 11s with just bolt-ons
i have probably less than 3k spent in 5 years.

and the gto bolt-on record has been droped again , 11.52 at 116 mph 1.52 60'

only two ss camaros showed up for the race and one was a sponsor.

only one cts-v and that was owned by a gto owner.

this was a very good track rental. great DA

time is not free. Its even more valuable than money. anyways All that time spent reducing weight could be spent working more hours and using that money for a supercharger or something and then you would have a car that is just as fast,just as much time spent on it and not all butchered up becoming a rattle trap!!! good day!
