I wish NO ONE neck problems- got one myself and doing everything I can to avoid disc replacement for the herniated disc I have. It's kind of sad when the doctors feel bad for you- you know there's a real problem...

28 years old.. Already had mine replaced just shy of a year ago.
my C5-C6.. artificial disc, 4 screws & a plate.

Pain-wise, I seem to be doing worse off than I was pre-surgery.

But the numbness/tingling stopped spreading... And I'm not at risk of being paralyzed any day.

Good luck avoiding that surgery. If not for the rapidly spreading numbness/tingling & risk of being paralyzed... I'd have avoided mine too.

I love the skydiving pics Chris. One of my favorite memories so far was the first time I jumped (tandem of course).
