Yeah, I'm kind of nervous since nobody else in a V6 auto has shown any times yet, hate for a suckass driver like myself to carry the torch for 3.7 auto stangs, but it looks like I may be the one to get the ball rolling in that category, God help us!

lostnight--- it is refreshing to see someone who is down to earth, and level headed. So many folks on this site (both Camaro and Mustang owners) spend so much time bashing each other's rides.

Welcome -- and yes, I have a really slow truck lol

Welcome lostnight to the forum. I and as other's have already posted, can't wait to see what you can do. I wouldn't be worried about being terrible at the track. I mean you can only get better, right? Have fun with the stang and lets see some results!

What testing device did you use to measure 0-60 mph?

Just traded that in for a 2011 Mustang 3.7 automatic with a 3.31. I plan to take it to Kil-Kare Dragstrip this Thursday evening if everything works out ok, seems like it will.

I very much doubt I'll hit the 13s with the automatic, but I'll bring my motorcycle helmet just in case. Based on my 0-60 run (judged by iPod app Dynolicious), I would guess I'll get around 14.5, maybe 98 mph, give or take a couple. I have the base model with base tires, but with the optional 3.31 rear end, so it could be interesting. I'll post the time slip, but beware, I suck at this getting good launches. It's all fun though. I have much love for the Camaros also, had a couple in the family, so I'm not here to inflame anything, I just like reading about cars I think are cool.
welcome to our little corner of camaro5. If you take everything here with a grain of salt..you'll be fine

After I get my flux capacitor fixed, I think my LS will beat that time.

Heck, with a Flux Capacitor, you can finish before you start!

I think it is the V6 convertible that can't be ordered with a 3.31, don't know why. Here is a pic of my window sticker, not too many options, but I like it.

I'm thinking the avg. is gonna be around 14 flat.
Latest motor trend lists the v6 mustang at 13.7 @ 102... Stunning
