My apologies if this has been covered before but multiple forum searches didn't find an answer to my question.
I don't want this to turn into a "If you adjust your mirrors correctly you don't need spots" post. I do have my mirrors adjusted properly and I'm good with that. No real normal use blind spot issues. With that being said, I do like spot mirrors primarily so that when I'm parking I can see the painted lines of the space to verify my placement within the lines. Secondly I've had spots on every vehicle I've owned from Motorcycles to F-150s. It's handy to have that extra view and makes it's usefullness apperant at odd times such as on mutli lane highways and people from opposite sides want to change lanes into the same location as an example. Also when backing out of tight locations it allows me to keep an eye on the sides of my vehicle so as not to ding a fender etc. With all that being said, now to my question. Since the sideview mirrors are such an odd nonrectangular shape, I'm unsure of where to place the spots to minimize the hinderance of normal view from the mirrors for lane changes etc. Can those who do use spot mirrors give me their input as to the best placement? Farthest outside edge in the crook of the < ? or perhaps outside bottom corner at the bottom of the \_ ? I'm thinking inside bottom corner wouldn't work as well in this car as it does in some other vehicles due to the big hips of this beatuiful car. All constructive input will be appreciated. ![]()

I have the small blind spot mirrors on every vehicle I own! Including all my motorcycles!
I place them at the outside edge on both sides. Then, I adjust my mirrors so I can barely see the sides of the fender in the regular mirror. That way, I have NO blind spots! ![]() Good luck! You can always use some Blue painter's tape, put them on, then see if you like them in that spot. Otherwise, it's a pain to move em!

Thanks Michael_Js. I figure I can save on the tape if I take advantage of everyones experiences here.

I've got the wedge shaped ones on the lower inside corners and have never had an issue missing vehicles or not being able to see the parking lot stripes. I prefer to have them located there so that I can use the outer edge of the regular mirrors for a much wider field of view. I've found that this placement works well in my Camaro.

Any issues seeing past the rear fenders in that location? That's the location I normally use for my spots. P.S. Love the hood spears!

I don't seem to have any issues seeing past the rear fenders. Give it a try and see if you like having the mirrors there. You can always pull them off and put new double sided tape on them to reposition the blind spot mirrors.

How do you have a blind spot on a motorcycle? Pretty much 360 unobstructed vision.
I've ridden, and I just don't see it...so to speak.

![]() IMHO, it's safest NOT to be turning so far when you're riding. Peripheral vision is best (always scanning) and my blind spot mirrors are great! I feel something is missing on any vehicle I ride/drive without em...
