If you are unable to pull it up the bulletin is PIC5320. They should be able to type it in under their SI and find it. If not another way is by doc # that number is ( Document ID: 2388518 ) If they cant get it with either of those you dont want that guy doing it anyways, find another tech that can. Hope this helps guys and good luck

They will find it mine took a little while cause I was the first one they did and the dude came out and asked me exactly what I needed and with the help from tech I was able to tell him with no problems. The only problem I have now is remembering that I have the controls in the steering wheel. By the way tech thanks again for helping us non techs out!!

I don't mean to thread jack..but I have a question regarding this situation.
I'm looking more and more at the 1SS instead of the 2SS (as I don't need all the plush stuff as my TBSS will still be my DD - more importantly still have heated seats and AWD in winter time). My question is this..when you build the 1SS you can add on the Boston premium speakers..is that ONLY the speakers? Doesn't include steering wheel controls? The steering wheel controls is really the only thing I want on my Camaro..seems kinda stupid to spend WAY more $$ for options I don't really want..other than those darn steering wheel controls. Thanks in advance! |

Yes i think that only includes the speakers not the steering controls, if you arent after all the plush stuff just the contols go for the 1ss.

Just got my car back from the dealer, they called me and tried to charge $75 for the VCI, but I immediately said that others were getting it for $50, so thats what I paid. So my stearing wheel controls work
and my IPOD is working as well ....BUT my tire pressure sensor isn't . So now I'm gonna have to take it back, unless it's a simple fuse pull.

It was an option on the 1LT, dealership couldnt find any close by, so I took the car closet to what I wanted at the shortest distance. It should have been an option on the 1SS as well...the generally do follow suit in that therum.
I looked it up on the Chevy site, yer right...weird that they offer it on a lower package car and not the SS...sad... Last edited by Savage76; 06-09-2010 at 02:02 PM. Reason: did some research |

I believe we're up to #15 ?? Mine done 5/26/10.
Dealer had nothin on this, he let me use his computer and brought up this page and he downloaded the bulletin. He apparently was not aware of this site (Camaro5) and I'll bet will be using for more items in the future. Thanks again techsupport ! I believe doing this myself with parts saved me approx. nearly $800. The C & C option is roughly $1500 and this mod cost me $120 for parts and $140 labor (download) at dealer. Assume the Bluetooth download would be comparable and the module I believe is approx. $300, so 140+140+300+120=700; $1500-$700 = $800 !!!

Thanks to Dragom for coming by the house this morning and hooking my steering wheel control up. Thanks man! Anyway, made a call to Hare and they were 45min's from closing for the day so I couldn't get in to get it programmed but I'll be there at Zero Dark-thirty on Monday to have it done. They said they hadn't done one before but that didn't mean they couldn't do it. We'll see. I know I'm armed with the service tech printout so they don't have to look it up. We'll see if I can get in there and out....
Thanks again for the info on this mod! Peace and anyone in the Midwest area who wants to join us on July 10th for a Meet & Greet at Hare Chevrolet, here is the link, so come join us. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=88581&page=3
