Yep mine too is on hold, vin # 1388 as I just received the e-mail from Camarotracking.com

Perhaps the on-hold is due to the fact that GM has yet to upload the 2011 pricing in Autobook that the dealers use and can't ship them until it is.

Come on GM, upload already as we all know the price.

no, they always hold back for a few days with a new model year start up.... They should start shipping by the end of the week.

Thanks for the info. Scott, would you know or can you theorize as to when the official GM pricing will show up in Autobook?

Thanks,

This is soooo painful...

I got my VIN this morning... :(

#101826

The Camaro has been built, wonder if I'll be allowed to go see it when it arrives at Classic Chevy... or is that just weird, knowing that I ordered it, but won't be able to drive it off the lot.

I think your assessment is correct,my dealer can't get an invoice for my 2011, even though he has the vin.#

That is correct! The dealership will not get the invoice until the cars have been released off QA hold and allowed to be shipped.

You can come by and give it a good look over if you wish, just no slipping away in the middle of the night to come and sleep in it

I got notice this morning also that my car #1388 has been taken off QA hold, and is available to ship via railroad.

What makes this pricing fiasco so crazy is that now Edmunds.com has the pricing, as reported by a forum member, and it is exactly like what we got with the exception that Rally Yellow is now $325 option and Edmunds shows it as $0.

So now the entire world knows the pricing, except the dealers. I can easily write a case study about what not to do to loyal customers. Sorry everyone about the attitude I'm just getting a bit ticked off about this.

Someone from GM that monitors this forum please tell corporate to get their act together as our cars are going to be shipped, and we still do not have a price to take to the bank for financing.

What I am afraid of is that the dealers will not get the pricing until the GM website is updated on July 6 so the dealers can sell as many 2010's without giving rebates. Just my thought, what is yours?

DEALERS NOW HAVE 2011 PRICING (MSRP, INVOICE, PREFERRED). I JUST GOT A PRICE QUOTE FROM A DEALER. They gave me what the preferred price was and the invoice price.
