All I cared about was eliminating the CA requirment for the front plates ... not sure where all the law breaking, light passing, etc. came in ... I just think a sig for keeping our Camaro's "grinning" up front was a good thing ...

Meaning to keeping it light and happy!

Now when those tickets that are sent out to people form those cameras have a funny story. Listen to this. Now when the picture is taken it is sent to ACS, the company that owns the camaras, yes OWNS, the camaras dont belond to hte city they rent them, then employees at the company decide which pictures should be cited and send those to the police. Now how corrupt is this. Tesitfiying officers are given a "script" from ACS to basicaly read as their testimony. I knew the world was corupt but this is honestly too far. This now interfers with our rights. The traffic court judges just want to get out of court and get home do they disregard anything the defendent says. I swear to you read about it and see how you will be disgusted of how unhuman this government actuallty is.

Just got a ticket. For tint on front windows and not having a front plate. Same officer parks up on a hill and pulls people over at the same intersection. Now, tell me this if FRONT PLATES are SO IMPORTANT, why doesn't all states require them? If TINT is SO IMPORTANT, why doesn't all states require them? If its SO IMPORTANT that these things are abided by, why isn't there a FEDERAL requirement. To me, its just another way to take get more money.

And i can't believe I reread this entire thread for that...

First and foremost... No more Federal requirements... enough already!! Enough with that whole mentality, please!?!

You do realize that Murder is a 'state-thing' too, right? You Murder in Texas, you will be executed!! Versus... I think they condone sexual deviants in Washington!

The fact... not all states have the front plate requirement, affords you the right to make your residence & your lively-hood in one of those states which do not... if you so desire. I do believe that's the whole point of the having States Rights. Not some big massive blob-government which rules based on its ideology instead of The Constitution.

Ooops, I said too much!

You got your front plate on?

I think you misread my post. One of the members here stated that front plates are required because they need to be able to see the front plate to run it. Well, obviously some states don't think that. Yes, once I get some more work experience you bet your ass I'm out of here. Waaayy to expensive to live and stupid rules like this are no way to live.

You don't watch Mythbusters, do you? That stuff doesn't work.

The only way to beat a traffic camera is with a rocket car.

Nope... I don't have my front plate on (& thank god the dealer didn't drill holes). I even have personalized plates but I ain't putting the front plate on, I'll take my lumps as they come. This isn't a big enough issue to move (at least for me), I was just pointing out the whole 'States Rights' vs. 'Federal Government Tyranny'.

As for the... "able to run it" comment, I believe that was more about... it helps if its there, specifically when looking for stolen autos. (I don't plan on having mine stolen... and OnStar ftw!)

As for moving out of state... laws can be over-turned/repealed, and things can turn around (if the right people are put in charge). My state is beautiful, just need to get the corruption out... common sense back in!
