3 of my 4 rear bolts were tight. One was loose, but not finger loose, just needed a 1/4 turn. haven't checked the fronts yet - can't reach under without her being on ramps. I have a washer under the bolt and don't remember if that was original or added...I left them there.

I did a visual today and my bolts look like they are still pretty snug or at least still in place. I'll get a socket on them in a week or 2 to verify for sure. I didn't feel like dragging out the jack today.

Just glanced at mine today and they're still tight.

One thing that helps is I use antisieze mixed with a light oil (I used Mobil Vacta #2 way oil). I use it on any bolt I take off.

You can actually get a bolt or nut tighter with antisieze on your threads.

Just checked mine; missing one bolt from the rear sway bar mounting bracket and the other one was ready to fall out. Also missing the nut on the end link (all on the drivers side). Passenger side was intact. Two front nuts on the mounting brackets were also loose. Replaced the hardware and added loctite to all hardware. I used a torque wrench for the original install

Sway bars have been installed for about 5,000.

Yikes. I'd better check mine. IPS Motorsports installed my Pfadt suspension, so I'm sure they followed the specs.

rear swaybar bracket bolts torque: 15 ft-lb
front swaybar bracket nuts torque: 15 ft-lb
swaybar endlinks nuts: 22 ft-lb
loctite 242 (blue) will keep these from loosening from road vibration.

3 of the front bolts were loose - NOT finger loose, but I was able to wrench them all down again. I know I did more than 15 ft-lbs and don't remember putting Loc-tite on them...

I'll be checking mine. I had the Chevy dealer install them, and they were given the torque specs so I'm confident they were installed correctly.

Edit to add: Not happy about this and it looks like more than just an isolated incident. This is exactly the sort of stuff I DON'T want to have to worry about after spending $1400.

I would highly consider this a very isolated event, I wouldn't be too paranoid about it.

Not trying to argue but 4 out of 7 people in this thread who checked had loose or missing bolts. That's not an isolated incident.

I checked my rear bar yesterday and the bolts seem to be tight, but then again, they've only been on for about 100 miles. Haven't checked the front yet.

There's no way I'm not going to worry about it.
