4-pack gauge cluster failure?

The only mods Ive done is replace the interior and trunk bulb with LED, wire an LED to the homelink (per the DIY) to make the light shine blue with the ABL, and footwell LEDs as per the DIY from this site as well. All went without an issue and work perfectly.

I just noticed that my 4-pack gauge cluster on my 2SS is no longer working... anyway I could have short-circuited that? I checked the fuse panel next to the driver door, and I am not sure which fuse it would be. I did check a few and those seem ok.

Anyone heard of the cluster failing? Any suggestions on where to start diagnosing this would be greatly appreciated!

Not if he screwed up the wiring.

I read the DIY's and the only way he would have done that is if he tapped the wrong wire, which I would assume he would have stated if he had done so.

No, all wires tapped were correct, easily accessible and without any short-circuiting.

I popped out a bunch of fuses.... put them back in... restarted the car, and *POOF* the gauges are working again!

One of the CPUs must have been reset or something, or there is a loose connection somewhere.

I noticed that I had an issue with my cluster a day after I took a left turn at a rather high rate of speed. With the help of a friend of mine, we went through the fuse boxes and made sure that they were all secure. We found a few of them that were not securely in place. Once we went through that check, the gauges started working again and haven't had a problem since.
