Nice...I've been wanting a GMT-900 truck ever since they hit dealer lots.

Thanks for helping GM!

That's the spirit!

Hopefully it'll be a 5th Gen., but even if it isn't, when the time is right, GET YOURSELF A CAMARO, no matter what gen. it is. You won't regret it.

Also, if you want to share your reasoning, fine, but don't feel obligated. We've all been in tough situations on occassion.

Please stick around too. Owning a Camaro isn't a requirement to be a Camaro enthusiast.

Ugh! Don't remind me. Last time I did the 'practical' thing I ended up in my current Aveo... At least it's still a Chevy.

LOL Screw practicality, I'm never doing it again.

I hear ya on the upside down loans. Pawning off my 07 mustang GT soon. Just went and got the order sheet today with my dealer. Inferno Orange metallic 1SS with black stripes,20" polished wheels Hurst 6 spd manual & Sun Roof. $38,995 canadian. I guess tack on 8 grand negative equity to that being upside down from the stang. Will be worth it though.

ok for those of you that want to know the story....

...About a week and a half ago I went to order a car cover for my camaro...and the dealership had all of their red tag specials on all the vehicles....so I ran across this truck and really liked it...but I hadn't changed my mind at this point...

....so then a few days later I was told that I would be let go from my job for jan. and feb. of next year....so then I had some decisions to make...I could go with the camaro and have no money...or get the truck and save money on..overall price/gas/insurance/down payment....

....so it was more practical...the more I drive it the more I love it....so I will be satified...

...thanks for all the support...it was hard because I was as excited as all of you who have already ordered...so I will never forget camaro5...thanks again

Sweet truck, and I love those tires. I had them on my Sport Trac.

Sorry it happened. I know you liked the Camaro. One day, my friend! One day!

That's a great looking truck you picked up. Congrats on your purchase. Good deal "keeping it in the family" and if you are ever around in the area once I have my 5th Gen, I'd be happy to ya out on a cruise. Take care, buddy...and stop by once in a while.

Wasn't this your first new car...brings me back to my first car...1998 Z71 same color as yours. I never even test drove it, I worked at a dealer and got a great deal on it so I got it. I drove that truck home and thought "what the heck have I done... I hate this thing! I can't believe I have 35 more payments of this thing!" BUT, the more I drove it the more I LOVED it. I traded it for a 99 Z28 9 months later because I thought I was leaving the dealership and wanted a sports car. I miss the truck, but I REALLY miss the camaro.

You are going to really enjoy the truck don't worry. Congrats!
