Oil change

Looking to see if the standard ramps they sell at auto parts will work to change the oil. Will they hit anywhere on the front of the car when pulled up on them?

I made my ramps... just make sure the Slant is long enough or low enough so your car gradually moves up.. shouldnt hit the car.

They should be OK, just watch out for some of the cheap ones that are so lightweight they just slide out of the way when the tires touch them

I just jack up the car from the middle frame bracket, put jackstands under each side and work away. Dont have ramps and this has always been an easy way for me.

Ah Ha.. I figured I wouldn't get caught behind the 8 ball. Loading a car up Sat. and want to make sure on the distance between the nose and the tires. Thanks for the replies

I startle a ditch. LOL Honestly, it's the perfect depth and width to fit my truck and Camaro. Put some cardboard on the grass and I can crawl right under there.

I got a nice set of heavy duty gray plastic ones from walmart and they work great. Not sure how a ground effects kit would do but a normal car has no problem.

bumper just clears the Autozone ramps(car's plastic guard rubs), even w/ a 1.5" drop...
