Kooks work great with that setup. They connect right at the 4" long clamp under the car. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Maryland speed said if I bought the kooks
1 7/8 LT headers, I would have to buy the connection pipes to make it connect to my borla atak catback. |

True.. but i paid alot less than i would of with arh's. arh's sound great but they sound pretty much the same as the kooks which with buying the connection pipes still ended up as a big difference in price

You have O2 sensors in front and in back of the Cats. The codes are set due to LTs moving the Cats and rear O2 sensors further back in the system... they don't heat up fast enough and will set codes. The tune simply turns the rear O2 codes off. You can get a Diablo or SCT handheld and load a tune for this. This allows you to load your stock tune back if you ever take the Headers off etc. These handhelds run from 300 to 600 depending on what you get. I got mine from Jannetty Racing and he provided me with a custom tune for my headers. Was simple to load. Also, I'm pretty sure TAG did throw codes but it took a long time. Any tuner will tell you that you WILL get codes at some point if you don't tune it out. There are quite a few threads on it.. |

ARH has set pricing with their dealers so you won't find big discounts. Kooks you can save a few bucks on. Also heard from installers that Kooks is easier to get in and out due to design. But that's their problem not mine...

What is the HP difference between the DT LH and the Kooks LH? Does anyone know? I don't need to pass emissions becase I have a connection at the DMV for that. I just don't want a CEL. I assuming a tune with either of these headers would erase the CEL correct?

LT Headers move your Cats further back in the system... only way to avoid it is shorties.. or no Cats at all.. |

I think it's time for you to make a call brother.
You've got all the information. I know ARH and Kooks use the highest grade materials (304 Stainless). don't forget about Stainless Works. I think they use the same Stainless as ARH and Kooks.... Don't know about Doug Thorley and Dyantech.

My JBA w/ cats 1 7/8" have better clearance than my doug thorley's w/ offroad pipes and even better clearance than my ADM offroad downpipes.. not to mention these things are really really nice and the Collector flange is new technology and its a breeze to install.

Just read some reviews on the DT LT, guess it make people very happy for the price. Im still very interested and leaning towards the kooks with their high flow cats, will be buying a pair of LT after the weekend cause I need to see how much money I can make . The only thing im worried about it the warranty and CEL!!!!
