Auto trans burnout

Has anyone out there figured out how to bypass all of the traction control to make a serious burnout with the A6 auto ? I have tried power braking it and get a small burnout but nothing major. How and the heck can you light em up with the A6 ?

If I put mine in manual mode and turn off traction control it will smoke- em untill the 2nd gear shift, with traction control and stabilitrac off it is usually sideways.

I've made smoke in my auto V6 by turning off Stabilitrak.

We added a line lock from SJM last weekend and took the car to Bandimere speedway. Grant it we got a Vortech but before the burnouts were good-now they are unbelievable. Thought my son wore out the 315 NT05R's on the one burnout. Even with stock power if you are on a narrow tire you'll love it!

I have an A6, and I can burn them pretty darn good with T/C and Stabilitrak off. Have you tried the fuse pull?

Are you turning Traction Control Off??? There is a button for that. Check your manual...

how hard are you on the brakes when you are power braking?

do you have TC and SC turned off?

2SS/RS A6: T/C and Stabilitrak off. Fuse pull completed. No smoke, no sideways, no chirp, just a cough and go. 93 octane. Dealer checked for SB's, nothing. Agrees it's a dog. Allowed me to drive a newly delivered M6 and I was absolutely shocked with the seat of the pants feel.

Yes, dealer tried as well. Both the sales manager and service manager tested it. Both just kinda shook their heads and they took it into the shop, hooked it up to the computer and searched for updates. There was one update for "slow 0-to 60" they thought might help but it didn't. Car currently has 3000 miles on it. Easy miles but the M6 with 3 miles on it just lit them up. I warned the sales manager ahead of time I was going to hammer it and I think I surprised him when I actually did. It sure surprised me. I was totally impressed and disapointed at the same time. They both told me it was normal for the auto trans.

something doesnt seem right. what kind of temps do you have? and how soon after starting up the car did you try? were the tires warm?

1 hr drive to the dealer so the engine was plenty warmed up. Ambient was about 60. Tires had time to cool down while discussing the performance problem with the service and sales mangers. I've spoken with Scott here on C5 and we have tried a number of different things including changing fuels stations. Was getting 93 at Shell but have since switched to 92 at Chevron. Elevation in Boise around 2000ft. I could see elevation being an issue if the M6 acted the same way but it performed as one would expect. There is a definite flat spot in the throttle if you hit the gas from idle in Park and even flatter/bigger hesitation when in gear. Service manager could also feel the hesitation and suggested a short role-out as have others here but same hesitation and no spin.
