A couple of pics of proto-Camaro 1/19/2006

I ran across these pictures I took of the Camaro at the Detroit auto show in January of 2006 and thought I would share them. I was sold right then and there!

... what's most impressive is just how true to the concept the Chevy designers and engineers kept the production car... it really is the car I fell in love with 4 years ago.

I have some pics from the Houston Auto Show in 2006 and there was a orange convertible Camaro. I was sold at that very moment as well.

still wish they stuck with not having that post behind the seat on the rear quarter window, and just stuck with the functional window, but if deleting that meant wether or not to go ahead with the production car I am more than willing to part with it. I am glad they did.

Think about how different the blind spot would be without that pillar!

So much smother without the B pillar. They did it in 67-69, you think they could do it now.

Great pics!!! Never get tired of seeing that prototype. Indeed, so close to production car.
