But all one has to do is go to the video section and watch the new Camaro being born - and when the headlamps light up at ignition (birth).........well -- that's part of the magic.

44 years ago Pete Estes - then the General Manager of Chevrolet spoke some 'magic' words..........

"....the name 'Camaro' means pal, friend, or comrade. Thus it suggests the real mission of our new automobile -- to be a close companion to its owner -- tailored to reflect his or her individual tastes and at the same time provide exciting personal transportation.
