Thank you for seeing beyond my personal emotion to the intent. It wasn't my intent to emotionally manipulate, but to tell my story of "The Camaro" from my own personal perspective. I'm so HAPPY that the 5th Gen Camaro turned out to be so f***ing AWESOME! It only adds to my enthusiasm! I never thought I'd be part of community of Camaro Believers who see the Camaro with such unbridled enthusiasm as I do... but here I am.

Jason

P.S. Hopefully you'll all be there in August at the Builders & Buyers Meet! Warlock and I will be driving out to say "hello" to the Builders. Well, *I'LL* be saying "Hello". Warlock will be saying, "Remember me?"

Great Story!

See you in August!

That was a great read. Thank you very much for sharing it. You have some very special people in your life. Have to admit I'm a little envious. Wishing you, your amazing wife, and your sweet ride many many years of happiness together.

Yes, I did. And that method worked extremely well.

I'm actually quite impatient waiting for the Meet & Greet! I really want to meet the people who built Warlock and give them my personal "Thanks!".

I think my car is MORE impatient, though. He's getting custom headers and a custom exhaust system made for him in July... so he's raring to go!

Ravrin and Warlock..........

THIS is the stuff that makes the bad days (and there ARE MANY)all worthwhile.......

(......and I dunno what it is about getting older, but the eyes seem to leak more than they used to........)

YOU GET IT - -these cars are more than just automobiles - more than just steel and glass and rubber......

What is the magic?

.......I wish I knew --

But all one has to do is go to the video section and watch the new Camaro being born - and when the headlamps light up at ignition (birth).........well -- that's part of the magic.

44 years ago Pete Estes - then the General Manager of Chevrolet spoke some 'magic' words..........

I quote:

"....the name 'Camaro' means pal, friend, or comrade. Thus it suggests the real mission of our new automobile -- to be a close companion to its owner -- tailored to reflect his or her individual tastes and at the same time provide exciting personal transportation. Chevrolet has chosen a name which is lithe and graceful, and in keeping with our other names beginning with 'C'....it suggests the comradeship of good friends ...as a personal car should be to its owner....."..
.
.
.
.
.
Pretty amazing, huh?

........and I've often wondered aloud in front of many many Camaro enthusiasts --

.......and that wonder is this:

Did Mr. Estes EVER have any inkling that this legendary brand would cause so many people to be brought together in friendship?

Ravrin and Warlock -- on behalf of everyone at Chevrolet -- and from "Thor" - "Thor Jr." "Apollo" -- and "Magni" -- THANK YOU -- for a most spectacular, thought provoking letter.........and YOU - -both of you - are our FRIENDS!
