JEWL... I am so glad he is OK. I got really concerned when you sent me that text but it seems all is well!

You keep mentioning this brake re-install and having this burning desire to have it completed by Saturday... You know we only get to do one parade lap right? It is not going to be high speed or anything. You have to pay LOTS of money for the full day/weekend driving school for that.

Not that I am trying to talk you out of switching them but it seems you're really stressing it!

See you at KMart Friday! I spoke with Lowbubba... they are likely!

Are you bringing the whole fam?

Not stressing so much, just have a burning desire to see if it helps and to use my shiny new Fathers Day Present i.e. torque wrench I bought myself. Papers I am stressing over. Just finished #2 of 10. I will roll on them over the next week and I have a four day pass I won at work that I plan to set up to use next thursday-sunday to ensure I get them all in.

Should be a great show at the KMart since the weather is projected to be good. I would bet best so far this year.

COME ONE COME ALL C5s. Not working this Friday either so after a couple of appointments should have time to clean her up for Friday late afternoon. I will save spots as usual. Haven't been given grief about cones there yet.

Back in the day we would have put 3-4 very fine stitches in it. Medicine has progressed to "super glue" for cosmetic reasons. Some back hills genius had been using it, then colored it lavender, sold it to a medical company and the rest is history. Tied it to cosmetics and plastic surgery and now he is probably right behind Bill Gates on gross wealth.

Roger that, ready and waiting (Oh and I think the mustang is UGLY as well)

Latest delema with my chevrolet dealer.

Well after much calling around and stopping in, no one but chevy has the specs or the 2010 camaro so I took my car in today for a front and rear alignment. Call at 5 to go pick it up and they say I have to talk to the manager. No problem getting it on the lift, but their laser guided alignment machine could not align the 2010 camaro. Not because it is lowered, they won't be able to align ANY 2010 or newer camaro.

They said in this economy that they won't buy the new radio signal guided ?? one. Lots more discussion about it between me and the service manager, but they had no idea until they tried to align mine. So they gave me the specs and told me to go elsewhere and to let them know who I find to do it, so they can send all their cars to them... RIGHT!

Stay away from Smedley Chevrolet!!

JEWL... Dont bother taking the trip to Columbus to go to IPS... Tire Discounters can align it. CinciSpeed takes all their cars there... not mine though. I took mine to the Corvette yoda at McCluskey Chevrolet. You seriously need to get in with them. You dealer IS an IDIOT. They work with you and give you a CUSTOM alignment. Not something some computer spits out. So far as they want to know how much you weigh so they can set it for when you are actually IN the car! We can talk about it tomorrow! These guys are no-joke Corvette race car builders... I wouldn't steer you wrong!

I have had my alignment done twice at the McCluskeys, 4-wheel is $99. Takes about 2 hours and they can usually get you in pretty quick.

My specs are about a degree of camber on all 4 wheels. Its a slight agressive alignment that wont eat up your tires but still really bites down in the corners. I have had this alignment since prior to Fest and my tires still look new. No uneven wear... nothing. Call McCluskey, as for the Corvette specialist at the auto mall. His name is Larry. He is a great guy and oh yea, they're a mod friendly dealer!

I know... Most dealers rely far too heavily on computers. If the computer cant tell them what to do, most are just pissing into the wind. He has had nothing but bad luck with them.
