FINALLY, after almost 2 months of having it, I have my license and registration all settled. Word of advice: NEVER mail in state sales tax for a vehicle you plan to register. That is all I am gonna say about that!

I also got the car back from the paint shop. WOW! That's what I said. It came out exactly as I was envisioning when it went in. I imagine some of you might want to see it too, so here are a few teaser photos to tide you over til the wife comes back from vacation with the good camera.







I was highly impressed with the quality of workmanship on this project. Props to CycleDelic Customs. So now it's painted, tagged, insured, etc... installed the KITT lightbar this morning... I am ready to have fun with it.

I installed the MGW shifter, what a differance, much better then stock, alittle stiff, but will loosen up. Alittle more noise then stock, but not to bad. took me and my son about an hour to install hardest part of the install was the two pins that hold the stock shifter body on the front

Anyone planning to attend the HICN tomorrow (Saturday) at Windward Mall? Thinking about going but depends what the wife wants to do, as she gets home tomorrow from a couple weeks on the mainland.

If I see that a few others are going though, I may decide to make it out. We'll see.

lol i dont go anywhere near waikiki with my car anymore.
i probably wont be attending car meets anytime soon because ill be busy this whole month and next.
on the good side, my exhaust should arrive monday and ill be giving mobotech a call.
i'm still deciding if i should order the colorshift halos, footwells, dome light, trunk light, and liscense plate LEDs. Dont think my bank account can take any more punishment. More than likely, ill be installing all these by myself if i ever do decide. hopefully i can purchase it next week, but i have to wait and see how things go.

if your interested in meeting up with other camaro owners, you should look up 808camaro or HICN (Hawaii Independant Cruise Night). They do car meets and cruises in conjunction sometimes.

Couldnt make the 808camaros cruze or car show on saturday due to my car still in the shop. A group of 2010 camaro owners are meeting for a potluck on saturday if you are interested. Will be glad to pass the info once I get access to my email if anyone is interested.

Any criteria for that? Or just a bunch of 2010 owners being cool about the car? That sounds pretty awesome if it's just a bunch of people meeting to meet.

I'd definitely be interested if it's open to anyone. I leave for San Diego on Sunday so it would be a little bit of fun before I go on travel.

Potluck open to anyone. It's open to all camaro owners. Its a great bunch of folks interested in talking about thier camaros and meeting other owners. Definately get to see what mods everyone has done to thier cars. It started with a small group meeting at the car shows to a nice size group enjoying talking story and enjoying thier camaros. Here is the email I recieved. Hopefully the pdf file attached properly with the location. If not, send me your email address and I will forward the pdf file.

Picnic at Kualoa Reginal Park, Sat June 26th.
A few of us are planning a "pot-luck" picnic with some members in your 808Camaro club. Just wanted to open up the invitation to whoever wants to join us for some fun in the sun and maybe get MPC (Mixed Plate Crew) to do an exhibition game of "Dodgeball".

Gates open up @ 7am. Jim & I will be there between 6:30 & 6:45am to reserve a spot in Campground B. (see circled area in attached layout of campground). We'll also set up a 10 x 20 canopy. Someone is bringing a grill in case anyone else wanted to bbq something.

So far our menu is:
