My CCW's are here and.... they don't fit. Not even close.
I went with a wider combination then John usually does as I wanted to run 12" slicks. The wider wheel combined with my lowered car == no clearance. We've grinded down a few places and worked on it all day but as soon as one area would fit another would rub. So, we are mailing these back and I'm going to go with some 17" slicks. Not the best solution but hopefully one that will work and perhaps I can put my stock brakes back on.

On the 26th of June, we will meet at the First paved parking on Transmountain from the NE side of town at 1330 so you can join us this time.
I hope to see everyone there.

Where is a reliable place to go for the installation of mods?
EDIT: As far as mods go it will be things like headers/mufflers. Also does anyone know if it voids warranty? Last edited by Gigachip; 06-19-2010 at 02:16 AM. |

A good place to get headers and exhaust installed is Montana Mufflers (used to be called Ernie's Mufflers). They have two locations on Montana. Eastside by Wedgewood and Central by Copia. Also, a good way to get some mods done is from your fellow Camaro5 El Paso Chapter members lol... EmperorSS (Richard) and myself have worked on my vehicle and I myself wouldn't mind lending a hand to anyone who needs one. Richard is very knowledgeable about anything mechanical and automotive and I have the service manual for the 2010 Camaro that has just about anything you need to know.

I agree with John and I have done all the work on my car also. I would be down to help another camaro owner do their own install. Theres just a satisfaction that you get when you do the install yourself that you don't get when have to pay a lot to have someone do the install for you. I guess its just pride of doing your own work and that whole "built not bought" saying
