I wasn't trying to kill you or anything...I'll just get that out of the way and say it out loud so everyone hears it. ![]() I saw MAD cars at Sagebrush today and a big group of Mopar fellas at Haines Park up in RR this afternoon. With my booty SS-less for the next couple days, I'll regretfully NOT be attending any shows tomorrow. Maybe. Ivan |

I was coming home from the track yesterday and passed Sagebrush where I saw a boatload of REALLY nice cars. There was even some white GT500 with Pink stripes (that the wife got all giddy about) pulling out as we were passing. Their lot was packed with 50/60/70's stuff. I had heard about the Mopar deal but not till around 11 when we were at the Track already. Albuquerque is the worst town in the world when it comes to promoting Car Shows. I know people from just about every Genre and car class in town. And I always miss shows. Or at the best, hear about em the day of. I noticed at the bottom of the Camaro5.com main forums page is a listing of "events" that are upcoming. Perhaps submitting info to Admin might be able to get the info out there but better yet, posting up a new thread about a show if you hear about it. I dig the 40/50/60's show too Andre. Hate hearing about a good one that I missed. Or driving by one when you just busted up your rig and can't stop to see the action. Ivan |

It's actually their father's day weekend car show. There was an auto X on friday, where my car made a new friend. If you guys want to learn how to drive your car well for FREE, those FREE Auto Xs are the place to do it. Second fastest time of the night again. Can't beat those EVO Xs, their handling is too perfect! Auto X is every 3rd friday of the month there BTW. That GT500 with the pink stripes is some blonde chick. Seemed cool, I saw her at Best Buy when I first got the car and she gave me a "love your car" as she got into her pink striped GT500.

Please tell me that you talked to the owner of the White and Pink Camaro.....
My son has seen that car a dozen times and has been trying to get her to come out to the meets and here. Woot woot! Ivan (still reeling...) |

I talked to her for a while...I think she wanted me to take her on a date, not come to any meets. I guess the gigantic wedding ring wasn't a red flag lol. I told her our cars could date, nothing more. She was cool none the less. She's a sagebrush auto x regular, that was the 3rd month in a row I've seen her. The sagebrush autocross/scca autocross is a lot more appealing to my age (she was early 20s too) than meet and greets or long cruises I think. Auto cross is a blast and there's very little potential for car damage. Cones don't hurt nearly as much as walls. Cruises are ok, but once you start leaving the city/county you're bound to end up with weird cops.

Hey Ivan the blonde in the pink stripe GT500 is Rob Petty's X wife (from Budweiser) or soon to be anyway, missed a car show up in Edgewood too, pretty big one although they had all the rods parked in a dirt lot (cars were filthy).
