Red face I've fallen in love with another car! An Audi A5

http://www.audiusa.com/us/brand/en/m...container=page

Don't get me wrong. I still love, adore, and lust after my Camaro. However, the new Audi A5 brings the same emotions when I see it. I LOVE this car. We live in a town home complex where several Dutch fighter pilots live. They are being trained at Wright Patterson Air Force Base to be pilots. They all drive Audis. Two of them have brand new A5's. One is Misano Red Pearl and the other Monza Silver Metallic. These cars are absolutely stunning! They stop me in my tracks every time I see them.

If I bought an Audi, it'd be either a S5 or R8.

My only experience with an Audi is my buddies 2.2T A4 (2003). Biggest POS ever. . after paying 10k for a car with 80k on it. . he had to put another 6k in it with in 4 months because it broke down all the time.

Rebuild tranny and top end of the motor. + extras.

Don't mistake what I'm saying about the Funkengruven products... They are snazzy to look at, and drive great. We had a loaded Passat V6 that treated the wife well... But me, the wrench, not so much. It's a completely backwards school of thought from what the common technician is accustomed to, I spent more time on Alldata and with VAG-COM than I ever wanted or planned to when performing routine maint on it. If you're buying an extended warranty, knock yourself out. My wife loved the car. After 4 hours doing the timing belt and water pump at the scheduled interval (yeah 30V V6), I propped a For Sale Sign in the window.

S5s are absolutely stunning. Saw my first one not long after they came out, the lines and stance are just perfection. Whereas the ponycars a aggressive and in your face, the S5 has a certain elegance about it that makes it just as desireable, just in a different way.
