Go SS
If you're going to want to race it, even ocassionally, you'll need the V-8. Unless you're racing rice burners.
![]() My take was, 306Hp was plenty for me. I don't race. I want a cool car, but there is really no where you can take it to legally open it up and run full-out around here - legally. So the SS was never on the table - why spend the $$ up front, and on gas? Definitely go for a Camaro, though - you won't regret the feel of it while you're driving...

Sounds like you want a 1SS with the BA sound system. What color? Manual? Do you want the RS package (halos and such)?

If I got 1 ss I would want silver or yellow with the black hockey stick stripes. I would take a automatic but prefer manual. Def has to have the ba sound system. So I don't have to mess with it.My only problem with the 6 cylinder is no place will let me test drive one to see how good it runs. I like to step on the gas and be gone

Either way you can't go wrong.
If you can afford the SS and want to race it, go for it! |

Don't bother test driving the V6, go with the LS3 with a manual transmission, especially if it's a weekend car. The list of performance upgrades available is way too extensive to list here but you'll be a very happy man!

What part of Pa. do you live in? I didn't have any problems test driving them where I am from, and I ended up going down to Sutliff Chevrolet in Harrisurg to get the best deal. |

I live in like south east or west. I'm like 90 miles from Harrisburg, I might end up there this weekend. I'm really a anxious to get one. I can afford the 1ss might be a little tight for a couple months. But I've never wanted a car so bad as this one. And the deaerships said I couldn't drive one cuz of the insurance reason and they didn't want people taking joy rides in them. If I have to I'll have to get rid of my 09 kawasaki Vulcan custom. P.s the only place I got to test drive one was in south carolina and it was a ss.

When I bought my Malibu 2LT 1.5 months ago for my wife test driving wasn't a problem either when driving up in a new maro. I dealt with a salesman named Paul H. there, wonderful experienced salesman that did everything right, not pushy and just a pleasure to work with. (to me that is a rare thing nowadays) I was just on Regester Chevrolets website and they had one 2SS http://www.regesterchevrolet.com/Veh...G=18&maxMPG=37 Hey here ya go, Sutliff has the 2011's in ![]() http://www.sutliffchevrolet.com/Vehi...G=17&maxMPG=37 |
