ordered my exhaust

well i went ahead and ordered my borla s-type. listened to MANY sound clips and read a ton of threads. it was a tough decision and once i narrowed down to borla i still was undecided about which of the 4 cb systems they offer for the 6.2 to go with but in the end i felt the stinger 2.5" setup was best for me. one minute i thought the touring because of the low growl, but thought it might be too quiet. then i liked the atak cause it is loud but it, imo is a bit high pitched and has a tad bit of a rasp (based on sound clips alone.. wish i could hear in person but not many camaros on the roads yet down here with exhaust upgrade) so i landed on the stinger and there you have it. hope i like it as much as some forum members have reported. hope i can do the install as well. i'm researching lift points and acquiring jack stands and ramps as i plan to perform this project right here at home in my own garage. thanks again to all forum folk who have posted all sorts of useful info about this project for these AWESOME cars! i will do pics and sound clips.

I installed the Borla ATAK on my 2SS/RS and it was not that hard. PM me if you have any questions and I will try to help.

many thanks bud.. will do. so, bet your diggin' that system yeah? i almost went with that one but it just seemed like the s had a bit more deeper tone which i'm partial to due to the flowmaster on my old 98 truck that i drove for ten years but i did love the crackling/rumbling of the atak.... i dunno, both great systems (s-type and atak) i'm sure. CAN'T WAIT to get my system on my lil hot rod!

Yes the ATAK sounds good. Really rumbles when idling. When you get on the gas, it really roars down the highway. I am sure you are going to love it.
