I got some evidance that supports the getting hit in the driveway theory... Check this... saw it coming in just a while ago. See the tire tracks in the sand and there is an impression in the grass!

If this happened at your house it's probably someone in the area. No doubt they tore up their bumper as well. Might we worth calling a few local body shops.
