+1

100 #lbs = aprox 10hp or .1 seconds in the 1/4

Please tell me you have real numbers to back that up. Don't tell me because it just feels faster. Your butt dyno is all in your head. Get real numbers. Not saying it is not faster, but as close as these cars are you need real data.

I was just shocked out of the 3 times how well I did.

Alexs 5.0 has Stainless works 1 7/8 longtubes that mate to the factory connection pipes going back into some Flowmaster mufflers.
He also has a roush cold air intake Supposively this is the same intake that the Red 5.0L beat the Yellow Camaro in the video we all have seen. He bought the car with not the smallest gears out of the three they offer but the midsized ones I remember he said ( wishes he had the 3.73 ) And he had the car tuned somewhere down in houston

I just over hear him talking daily lol . Its a nice car and the Kona Blue as he calls it looks good on the car.

Me I have 1 7/8 ARH longtubes Xpipe and Borla stingers.
ADM Race Cold air intake , ADM Stage 2cam , ADM Tune oh and im now a LS3 I had it converted recently. Stock Torque converter and Stock gears.

Only thing I can think of is like i said i was cruising at 55 when my Camaro hits 60 she climbs VERY HARD and im not kidding something Adm has in there tune makes this car climb hard.

Yes I have a Cam to where he doesnt however with me being a auto and heavier you telling me it makes that much of a difference

who knows.

Only point I was saying is Alex is someone who brags when he does something good but when he loses he hushes.

its all good.

I guess the cam made the difference here for him being underweight and me being automatic to his manual.

I recommend Kona blue to anyone who wants a stang nice looking color.
Very nice! Thanks for posting the details. Sounds like he opted for the 3.55 and to be honest, this is probably the best option if one plans to get serious with the mods on the 5.0.

I went with the Kona Blue myself and it is a very nice color. Dark blue metallic.

On the '10, the 70lbs. reduction is equal to about 70HP. Instead of 315 it would feel closer to 385 however that is still 30 off of the '11.

Did the '11 you drive have a 3.31?

I agree on the blower. I recommend the KB.
my car has the 3.73 and wider lighter wheels with summer rubber. Im not sure what rear end the '11 i drove had, whatever roush decided to equip on their stage 2 car (3.73 i believe).

i have already decided to just get the Roush M90 blower. i get to keep my 3 year/36k mile warranty and it will get me to 380 to the wheels. once that warranty ends ill do headers, CAI intake, and aluminum driveshaft. by this time next year ill have a beast of a car

i dont think your numbers are accurate for my weight reduction. because the 2011 definitely felt faster, just not as epically fast as i was expecting.

why did you trade the SS?

Crucify him? Whatever!!! He may have 1/4 mile times for both cars. I don't know. In no way did I mean to be harsh. I just know butt dynos are not calibrated properly.

LOL comparing a cammed ls3 to a mustang. Modded muscle car beats a stock one (with an intake). In other news: sky still blue.
