I called my Dealer today as well. He tried to modify the order and could not. Then he went through the quick order system and created a new order. He could select all the options including the polished wheel option. However he could not submit the order. He called GM and made it up 2 levels, the support person is going to try and push it higher this week. I have a lot of confidence in my Salesperson and he is very good at what he does. If there is a trick to this someone please detail the process and he will try it. He said he would help get to the bottom of this if he has more information.

My dealer also tried to change my order thru the workbench. It didn't work, so he made a phone call. He was able to change it thru the phone conversation, and when he refreshed the order screen w/ my info, it showed my changes, and the polished wheels w/ the RS package....

There is another thread saying that the system wasn't able to be updated and they are going to try again over the holiday (Thursday).

I think I posted this 7 times now...must be a LOT of dup threads!

The system is scheduled to be updated on Thanksgiving when dealers will be closed.

TRY AGAIN FRIDAY for polished and blues for CHANGES.....right now you can only cancel and reorder....but I'm not a fan of that method....

My dealer made a phone call and added the polished wheel option that way, then when he went back into the workbench screen, it showed the change, and he printed out the new copy for me???

I was able to make the changes by not canceling the order and reordering it. This may work for you and it may not. Bring up the all the preliminary orders. Find the one that you want to make the changes to. Scroll to the right where it lists all the customers option codes. Click on the options and it should bring up two boxes. The one on the right will be the options that you have selected so far and the left side will be the available options that haven't been selected yet. You should be able to double click on the options that want to add or click on it and hit the arrow between the boxes that moves it to the right hand box. I don't know everything about the system, but use to do all the ordering for our dealership and taking care of all the Camaro orders. Let me know if anyone has any questions and I will do my best to help.

I have a 2LT/RS with a Sunroof, Red Jewel Tint and Cyber Grey Matalic rally stripes on order, the dealership here in El Centro is still trying to make the change for the polished rims. They know about the change, and have two other people who have ordered the New Camaro, I have the First order. I have also asked my dealer if there is some way I can get a rendering or a picture of the car the way I have ordered it, so if there is anyone here on this board who can do it I would greatly appricate it. I also have a 1987 Camaro RS that was sold originally as a California Special, by the time I get my New RS I will have had my 1987 for over 22 years.

Ok, I'll add to the pile...

The RS package on the SS costs $1200, which INCLUDES upgraded wheels. Why then are we still paying street pricing on the Q9J ($470)? Shouldn't there be some sort of credit for the wheels we're NOT getting? Is everyone who has quoted this price actually looking at the new/confirmed order sheet or are you looking at the original options sheet?

Thanks,

Jack
