Ivan's Parts are finally showing up. They're not all here yet; but hopefully, very soon. He's also still trying to figure out the new look, so it may be a bit longer. Can't wait to see what the Master comes up with ...

I don't know about you....but even an upainted, rather stock looking at this point Camaro front Fascia is so much more totally sexy than a Radar Detector....
Woooo!! Honestly, those 9500's get my juices going pretty damn good too. Those are the ducks nuts. Straight up. Ohhh!! The Master. That's tight Curt. I can appreciate the love there for sure. Been trying to catch Sean at CC all day. Dude must be busy with Dad gone. I shot him a seriously detailed and lengthy email with the plans. Just hoping that he gets back to me so that I can order the last (maybe) of the pieces needed. Thanks for the pic Curt. Makes the hairs stand up on the neck just a bit. Ok, alot. Ivan

I like seeing the parts for Ivan's rebuild/transformation.
AND the most awesome radar, laser detector/blocker on the planet, since it was on my list to help protect from this The only reason I didn't get it before is because I didn't want to bolt anything on to my car because I was going to keep it TOTALLY STOCK!!!!![]() ![]() That seems soooooo long ago. My 1 year anniversary for my car is tomorrow! Happy birthday!

Just to confirm guys and gals...
NO MEET this weekend since we'll be busy bees next weekend. Took three calls today asking if it's still on. WTH???!!! Rock...crawl out from under it people!! LMAO Reminder that next weekend: July 10th will be the SMS Track day...don't worry kids, NOBODY will be getting rides for a while. Matter of fact, I'd be shocked to see my car out on the track again.... ![]() July 11th will be the Innaugural Camaro5.com (ABQ Chapter) Route 66 cruise! Planning on meeting at ???? AM at the Old Town Hotel, cruising Old Town, and then hitting ye ole' Route 66 Eastbound to Tijeras where we'll take Rt14 North to Madrid (Mad..rid for some of you folks) for a lunch. Perhaps one of you fine folks would like to start a thread on the Cruise with a spiffy little map of the proposed cruise....???? Let's start talking it up in fine fashion so that we get some participation out there. Cool beans kids!, Ivan

Let's meet at Old Town Hotel Albuquerque at around 10 AM. That should give us plenty of time to cruise up through the canyon and on up to Madrid. We'll roll through Old Town and scare everyone with our herd. Onto Route 66 (Central) all the way to Tijeras making everyone turn their heads and look. Head north to Cedar Crest. Stop at Cedar Crest (if you guys want) at one of the two strip malls there. Show off the cars, take a breather, and have a cup of coffee. Then, head on up to Madrid for lunch and tourist shopping. On the way, we'll roll through Golden, NM and scare the few folks that live there. When I say 'few', I mean 'few'. After hanging out at Madrid, we can continue onto I-25 and branch from there. People can head home to Albuquerque or go on up to Santa Fe. How does that sound?

My 1969 Camaro parts are piling up nicely. I'm still waiting on the brakes (ordered), transmission (ordered) and rear-end (not ordered, waiting on Jim Guthrie). Just about everything else is here. I hope to get the project started in a week or two.

AAAWWW yeah!
Sounds great Curt. I can dig that with one of them sporks from McDonalds! NICE! The Sticky should have taken place weeks ago.....perhaps a PM to a mod and we can make that happen?? Diana-I'm hoping to as well. I know that they pulled it in and actually started doing "something" to it. Jim is out this week and his son Sean is heading it up. Doing swell so far. I'm going to do a surprise inspection tomorrow enroute to work. See what's shakin. Curt believes that Friday of next week is a reality with what we are doing. As long as she comes out righteous, then I'll be cool. I'd hate to have to leave her there for a fix while everyone was out playing on the Cruise. Curts 69 is going to be sick. I cant even wait to see that car come apart and get built back up with the righteousness he's got in store for it. Good stuff going down at Car Crafters! Ivan |
