Amanda, I finally got to talk to the dealer on price and at this point it is too far outside my budget...but we are still looking at options.

The car is still on its way, at this point it doesnt look like I will be buying it though.

put 20k down on mine. Apparently the Vette I sold held its value really well. I already bought new wheels and tires. Nitto 555r 305 35 20 in back. Turbos coming real soon

This is our week...

I stopped in to see my dealer this morning and he is now going to put together some leasing numbers so perhaps I will still be able to go forward with buying my ordered car.

If not, my last plan is to save up 10K in the next 9 months, order the same 2011..can potentially save 15K in interest doing that.

I got a phone call this morning from my dealer informing me of the 6/28 tpw and he said I will probably pick up my car in 2 to 3 weeks. I can't wait, lol.

Dealer just called me. Car was already built and he said to expect it here first of next week

Received my VIN today!

Now I have to keep my fingers crossed that it is delivered before my credit union ends the 2.9% promotional rate!

my car left oshawa yesterday afternoon! at least wisco is closer to oshawa than alot of other states! I wonder how long it will take to get here?

Mine is in route also. I don't know. Does it go train to somewhere and then a truck to somewhere and then a truck home?

camarotracking.com showed 'produced' for my order number on Wednesday, the 30th.
wondering when I will take delivery...

They were in a yard in Toronto as of 7 or so last night (not sure what time zone). My guess is that they will be on a train thru Detroit and then maybe Chi town... then on a truck when they get closer. People are saying it takes about 2 weeks once first shipped... I think I could walk to Toronto and pick it up myself in that amount of time!

jackka, camarotracking gave me the produced status on the 29th, then yesterday I got the "in transit from osh"... car left osh at around noon on the 29th so Im betting your car is already in transit you just havent gotten the update. The CSX railroad customer service number is pretty sweet though I like being able to call for updates.

yeah, I've been noticing there is a slight delay on camarotracking.com for status updates.

today it says in transit from osh, so it must be well on its way here!

I've already ordered the splashguards and doorsill decals from gmpartsdirect.com (much cheaper than what my dealer wanted to charge me including labor charge to install them

)
Also ordered some Weathertech mats and sunshield.
I think I'm going to order some stuff from Adam's Polishes today, just can't decide whether to hand polish or machine polish.

I can't wait to pick it up
