Well that's your first new car , i think if this will be the every day commuter car you do have to budget the costs ,like insurance, gas, payments , etc maybe you could keep the smoking one as a principal every day car and the new one as a weekend [pleasure ] so the insurance on the camaro will go way down [tell them 2000 miles /year just shop for that ahead a time and you will know the cost and by doing this you could afford more car , good luck

I say go test drive both now. If the V6 is all you need, then you can order now. Would be better than to wait several months, only to find out that you wanted the V6 after all. As for me the V6 has plenty of power and is exactly what I wanted. LS with just the basics so that I can add only what I want.

Well look at it two ways. You could get the SS and work to death to pay for it or you could get an LT and enjoy life. If you want in a few years you can trade it in on a new SS or even a 6th gen.

You should wait 2 months and get an LS. That way you'll have a bigger downpayment and a smaller monthly payment. I know when I was 23 buying a new (to me) car there were a lot of things I didn't consider as extra costs. You'll want that extra buffer every month for unexpected costs.

That way you'll have the car paid off just in time for a Gen 6 Camaro and a fully paid off car makes for a nice down payment on an SS.

Any who I could order a LS right now and be perfectly happy because the camaro is a amazing machine. Or I wait like 4 months and order a SS. I mean this will be my first auto loan so I am looking for some pointers from you guys. Things I like about the LS is I can build it my way and with the SS I love the raw power. What do you guys think. All comments welcome. Decisions........decisions.
Being money is an object then I say get the LS & save over $8,000.
The V6 is quicker than a lot of past V8 Camaros.....

If you know you can afford it without it putting you in a bind then go for the SS and don't look back.
