200hp?

Is it possible to get 200hp by adding a Vararam CAI, Cam (not sure of the specs of the cam), Kooks LT"s with high flow cats, Fast 102 intake and 3" corsa Exhaust.

That's a very odd question, but not likely. Not likely at all.

add a S/C to the mix and the answer is yes.

Doubtful you'll get there without some kind of power adder.

Reason I am asking is a guy I work with has a G8, and this is the setup he has and he is claiming he has 480 at the rear. And from my readings these cars come stock with around 280 or so at the rear, so therfore I call BS on him for one he will not show any dyno sheets to prove this. What do yall think out there????????

The fast intake isn't worth the 1k price tag anyways, port the stock one if you really want that 5 or 10 hp

Thats what me and some other guys at work are saying, but he swears on it, just wont provide the proof. I know Camaro21 on here has a nice setup and he has a SC and hes getting like 605 At the rear thats 225 more than the average stock SS. Like I said I am calling BS on this...........

That set up is prolly worth about 100 hp give or take a bit. I actually kinda like that set up the more I think about! It would sound awesome and be very fast. You'd have to add gears too.

I'd prolly do the exhaust less the headers and a maggie before that combo considering price, drivability and overall hp/tq gains.
