Got my windows tinted today at Solar Shade in Waynesville on 73. Formula One Pinnacle 35. It's a ceramic tint.

It does look great but I have had terrible luck with Solarshade. I wouldn't let them tint anything. They tore up the inside of mine and a friends car and the tint was terrible. I hope they did a better job on yours!

Now you tell me! lol

My interior survived, and the tint looks good. Maybe I had a different guy working on mine.

You never asked! Mine was done there years ago. They screwed up my C5 and my friends WRX. Next i tried this place in Springdale. They did OK on my RX~8 and C6 but screwed the truck up and put a sh*t ton of swirls in my black C6 when they clay barred and buffed it... first and last time anyone else details my car. For the Camaro, I switched to this place in Reading down by Ronald Reagan HWY and they did a GREAT job. The lines are right at the edge of the window, the radii are perfectly rounded... top notch work.

Not sure yet with the holiday. Tracy is supposed to work Monday, and there's a set of guages coming, so it may be later in the week.

Yeah, definitely excited, and anxious.

She is leaving for 7 weeks end of this month so who knows... She may miss me and let me as a present. Wishful thinking.

Glad someone bought it. Looked like a good ride.

I just recently had my tint done at Solar Shade and it came out great (so far)..They did ask me to wash the car when they were done, of course I said NO!! Nobody washes my car but me, not even Mr. T,.. They also did my engine cover and I'm going back on Tuesday. They are going to vinyl my door inserts and the dash strip red.
I just sent my headrest to get embroidered. By next month, I'll be ordering my new exhaust and cai. Today, I'm ordering sub boxes and harness from ********. I also just received Lloyd mats. I'll get pics after the door inserts. I think I'm done until x-mas.

Are there any plans for another get together anytime soon..?

COOL! I can't wait to see the red interior stuff... Looks like you got bit by the mod bug pretty good!

Next get together has not been brough up yet but come down to CincySpeed on the 17th and have your car dynoed. $40 for 2 pulls plus you can see some really cools things go on at the shop. get your CAI and exhaust on by then! Let me know if you need more infomation on it. Also there is a thread in the great lakes section about it.

Cool! You got the new shoes... now you need the socks!

A Ray of Hope

July 5th update. I like how bright it is outside, like the Heavens are shining down on the car. I should have got the 2010 out of the picture even though you can barely tell its there...

First time the car is on its own 4 wheels since February 2008! Still a long way to go but some progress is better than it sitting in the barn.

Here is the rest of it, in my basement... LOL:

I went through it the other day and I actually remember what all of it is, lets see if I can remember how to put it back together...

I will keep you posted as I get stuff done. I am going to try to work hard on it. I am hoping to have it well on its way by this time next year...

If you put a lawn chair in there as a driver's seat, you're ready to cruise.

If you haven't already, you should create a car journal for that car. I think car journals are some of the most fun and interesting threads on the site.

BTW, if any of you aren't following speedster's build, you really should!

It is sort of dune buggy-esque isn't it... Maybe i will put a chair in it, hook the 4-wheeler up and go for a spin!

I am may have to do a journal...
