Those rims look great! I give a thumbs up too!
Okay...so I heard all of you complaining about the temps here in Phoenix....but you know when its 115 here its like 90 there....Once you over 90 with dry heat its all the same! Either that or I have gotten used to it! Which ever, we love it out here and still do alot outside believe it or not! Oh well...we are practicing retirement! About 5 more years to go! If the stock market keeps going in the direction its going it might be 10 more years! Hope everyone has a safe 4th! :flag2: We've already had one death on Lake Pleasant by our house! Some cigarette boat was going so fast that he ran right over a small boat and killed one and injured 3 others! Stupid Stupid Stupid! Alchohol, Speed and Water just don't mix! Hope to see everyone next weekend!

Stop rationalizing....115 is still 115. LMAO

It's a "dry heat" though! lol

Yeah man, you all have a safe fourth and let me know if any of you are planning on High-Order Detonations.

Happy Safe 4th to all my brothers and sisters!

Hope to see all of you next week as well

I lived in the Mojave desert, and I still go back and forth between Burque and Vegas.. and 115 in Vegas isn't comparable to upper 90's in Burque. In Albuquerque, even at those temps one could still drive around without AC and the windows down, though they will still be uncomfortable. I did it for years in my VW's and my 56 Belair. In Vegas, you cannot do this, with the window down and no AC it is like running the oven and then sticking your head in it. Having spent considerable time in the Phoenix metro area, it and Vegas are the same IMO.

I'm glad everyone had a good 4th, and we're looking forward to this upcoming weekend of MASSIVE FUNNESS! Hope we get to see your rebuilt ride Ivan. I'm sure it's gonna be great.

I am planning on being there on Sunday. Are we meeting at the Hotel Albuquerque near Old Town? I am also hoping to make it to the track day...don't know if I will be driving the track...but I would like to maybe get my feet wet! Will Jim be there for pointers?

RS and myself will be there both Saturday for the Track day, AND Sunday for the cruise to Madrid. I am guessing we are still meeting at 7:30am on Saturday for the Track day in front of Hotel Albuquerque. We will have a guest from El Paso joining us for the track day, Camaro 5 member mws444. What time are we planning to meet for Sunday's cruise? Beth, you have to come Saturday, no nails, and bring those T-shirts.

This group always has something going on. Track days at SMS, monthly meet n greet at Dos Hermanos on Jefferson (1st Sun of each month.) drag strip days now. and our shop will throw something together here and there. just keep checking this forum and you will find threads all the time. This weekend is track day at SMS on Sat. Cruise to Madrid on Sun. next weekend Sat there is another track day (ouch for tires) and in the afternoon/evening there is a car show at our shop. you do not need to be in a camaro for the track days or the cars show. I am guess they will let you tag along in the back of the line for the cruise. LOL
but definately come out and meet a great group of people.

I'd love to say I'll make both....but....

I tried to get a completion date outta Jim yesterday/this am but to no avail. I'm hoping (really really really) hoping that I'll be able to make Sunday. If it's not right though, then I will be a no-go.

I know one of the fellas isn't going to be able to make it and I'm already thinking about us planning a new one down the line just so he'll be able to show off his....ahem....429ci.

I'll know more tomorrow..I'm sure.

-Ivan Way UP!
