I have an LS and it has gotten a bit better since I had the car tinted (20%), however it does not come close to my wife's 010 Malibu 2LT, that car cools quickly and it will freeze something off.

Mine is ice cold. The only problem I have is the fan seems like it is blowing really hard but the air coming through the vents is weak. My G6 on full blast blows at least twice as hard.

That's how mine is. Maybe the Low and Med are too low also. Once you go High on the fan, it's definately cold.

Just used it on the way home and it definitely works better when you turn off bi level and just use the main vents

Now that it's finally warmed up here in Washington State, mine does seem a little weak. My old Toyota 4Runner had A/C so powerful that I often had to turn it off because it just got too darn cold in the car, but today I couldn't get my Camaro quite as cool as I would have liked. Played with all the different settings, and nothing seemed to make it perform much better. I have to take mine in to the dealership to have an issue with the window checked out anyway, so I might ask them about the A/C at the same time.

93 out today and my AC gets plenty cold. Doesn't happen right away but it creeps up on you as you drive.

I have a suggestion, Anyone experiencing any AC difficulties.. weak airflow, warm air coming out when AC on ect bettter take it in. I had a temperature door break on mine causing the heat from the heater core to always be mixed in with the AC air... It could happen to other doors and may cause the symptoms discussed here...

got mine fixed and it will freeze you out and it was showing 101 on the DIC temperature, Local radio said it was 96...

It's 114 today and it is DEFINITELY not a weak AC. Turn that thing on full blast and my car is like an ice box in 5 minutes.

The A/C is definately not the greatest. I have tint and the air just doesn't seem to get very cold if it's hot out. When the radiator fan kicks on it sounds like a Mack truck, needs improvement!

Being in Texas... when I get out from work in the afternoon, my temp gauge has routinely been reading between 97-103F. My car bakes in the sun for a good 8-10 hours per day, and it usually takes about 2-4 minutes for it to "cool" off sufficiently to where you can take it off full-blast and back down to 2/4 on the fan speed. I usually just keep it on recirc since it's humid as heck down here and it keeps it just ever so much cooler.

Yeah, even today I had to turn the blower down since it was getting so cold my hands hurt.

So we should do a survey, how many have an AC that is instantly cold.
Has me wondering.....

After a car has been sitting out in the hot sun No air conditioner will be instantly cold, it has to cool down all the components first before you will feel any cold air... and it also has to clear out all the old stagnant hot air that has built up in all the ductwork...
