Thermal tape question
Ok here goes.....I was wondering if anyone has tried or wrapped there CAI tube with thermal tape (same used on turbo cars and exhaust headers)...Maybe it will keep the CAI tube cooler and would provide more power?
I would try but I dont own a meter to tell airtemp so it would be a waste of time for me. Just wondering.

Ok so I found this online..next week my CAI arrives. Guess I will try before and after test but again I dont have a meter for airtemps.
So it will be seat of the pants test. http://www.heatshieldproducts.com/co...ake_system.php

I haven't driven it too much, I dont think there will be a real gain it should just help the intake from getting as heat soaked. I also have done an IAT relocation to the scoop and i wrapped that up to help keep heat away from the sensor.
