I haven't read anywhere in this thread, so wanted to ask if you would do a group buy if there were x amount of people wanting to buy these wheels from you? If yes, can you give lots of details?
Thanks

If you just HAVE to go this big, this is the way to do it

A 22" rear, 21" front stagger might looks decent (like the concept) anyone got a set like that?

what do you guys use for paint on the wheels? I was thinking of doing a candy red over the entire wheel and the inner part of the wheel done black from the spoke inward. the car is black.

I could work something out for you guys... I'll start a group buy thread to gauge interest. If we can get 6 confirmed sets I will post a group buy for the 1st of next month.

Here is the thread:

more like the entire spoke candy and the inside of the wheel black, mainly for brake dust issues.

Sure... candy paint would be about $100 extra per wheel

Greetings, I'm new to the site and the 2010 Camaro.

The work to produce these 22" replica wheels is certainly appreciated.

The problem for me is that I would really like to have a 20" X 10" or 11" wide wheel and do the popular swap of my 9" wide wheels to the front.

I called the good folks at BFXENON to ask for clarification on the availability or unavailability of the wide stocker for the rear and they said it is a simple issue of return on the investment. I can't find fault in the logic and due to the current economy.

So, I went a step further and contacted the wheel builder, Factory Reproductions Inc. Doug Heidman replied to me right away. He said that they haven't totally closed the door and would like me to ask the question to the forum to guage interest.

This is the first post from a newb lurker asking for help. I hope that one of the regulars would champion a survey to gauge interest in 20"X10" or 20"X11" rear factory style wheel.

thank you
Chet

I have been wanting someone to make a 20x11 replica FOREVER. Many others have said the same as well. I think it'd be great for people on a budget who only want to buy two wheels and two tires.

What I would do if I were you, is start a poll thread stating exactly what your post here says and we'll see how many people would actually be interested. Then you can present the interest you gauged to Factory Reproductions and show them there would be enough potential buyers.

Also, you might want to try AFS Wheels. They've been making replicas for a while.

The only problem I see there is that a manufacture might not make the wheels to be an exact match to the factory wheels. Unless GM makes them and sells them through gmpartsdirect.

I love the factory wheels also that's why I am getting my fronts widened by ADM to 10.8" with 315's and putting my rears up front.
