Same here- but at the same time I don't know what a good fix would have been for it. I make mine work, and I figure if this is the only thing I don't like about my car, then I'm ok with it.

The interior is one of the things that attracted me to the car

O.K., I'm confused now. In my CAMARO the seat and door (plastic) inserts, and the carpets are all gray as TOM says, BUT SO ARE the roof liner and the "A" and "C" pillars which are all done in the same shade of gray too, as well as the slim visors.

Are there any current CAMAROS where the roof, visors and pillars do not match the carpet color???

Like say, having beige seats with black carpets???

That would be very odd looking if true.

PLease anyone clarify this issue.

Thank you!

The Flash - I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but 2010 Camaros with Beige interiors have only beige seats. Everything else is black (carpets, headliners, etc)

I love my SS, but I think the Interior is very week. I think Ford did a much nicer job on the stang with their premium interior. GM... nice planing ahead for a nav screen.

All right Viral!! : thanks for the picture as it s worth a thousand words:
right there I can see that the interior of the "A" pillar of this CAMARO is a shade of GRAY and so are the carpets within the car.

I cannot see the roof but I assume it is also GRAY.

I would have thought they would make the inside of the car to match the color of the leather choosen.

This is standard in most european brands: you choose the leather color for the seats & door and most of the time this automatically triggers a set or combo for the rest of the interior (carpets, roof liner, windows' pillars, etc.).

For instance in the AUDI TT, if you chose the "baseball glove" leather seats, all the interior including the steering wheel comes in the same shade. If you pick the red leather the dealer immediately will have you to confirm if you also want to get the red leather steering wheel or a gray or black one.

In the '90s GM did the same combination for the TRANSAM : if you chose the tan leather for the seats you received a mix of gray and tan in the interior that was not very pleasant to the eyes.

I cannot tell from the picture how it all looks. I do hope you are happy with the combination and that it is better executed now that it was in the '90s F-Body cars from GM.

Thank you so much for taking your time to clarify this to me and for the pic and sorry to take so long to get back to you. Had a busy family time lately.

its a highly produced car, not going to please everybody on everything. The car is made with the highest quality in mind but with lowest cost. You want a car where you like every last part, get something italian

I had that very same thought this morning. So far my "complaint list" is pretty small with the Camaro.

Some have to attack something.

i've always had nice cars . The SS has nothing to be ashamed of!

good luck getting this cool of a car both inside and out for 30-32 k.

It doesn't exsist. Not new.

I get out of my loaded V and into the SS and it feels no cheaper to me.
But i love my cars...maybe thats the difference, i may overlook some faults.
however the interior appear to be correct for the type of car and price point!

do you really expect a lexus interio when a entry level lexus is more money??

My first car was a 1979 Trans Am. Since that car I have had a series of 4 door cars, trucks and SUV's.

All I can say is when I test drove the Camaro it was like going home. I love the look and feel of the interior and with the single exception of my F250, every manual I have owned had issues with drinks getting in the way.

I am part of everyone so I will complain as well. My interior should have been Yellow and not Gray! Now I have to buy the yellow remove some paint so my blue interior light will not be green. Then I will have to try and sell the gray to someone else. Damn Camaro interior, DAMN YOU!
