Glad to hear that Walmart might actually pay for the damage. Nice to know.
I would assume a lot of heat is coming your way from jealous young idiots. I suppose thats the risk of being so young with a nice car most can't afford.

I hear the jealousy thing, but i still wont ever understand why messing up something that isn't your makes you feel better that you can't afford a car. Do you suddenly feel like yo u can afford it once you damage it? It's wierd.

Iomcamaro, so sorry to hear this. I hope this is last of the bad luck for you.
This is why I will not leave my car unattended...I just can't do it...unless I'm work. And when I'm there (government facility) security monitors the parking lots and I've got a good view of my car. I take my other car when I'm out shopping and running errands. Not sure if you have that capability...but if you do...I'd start taking the other car. Good Luck!

Sorry about your car... My car refuses to drive to Walmart. She makes me take my husbands Dodge Ram.

Glad Walmart is reviewing the tapes, it's the right thing to do. The way your luck has been thus far its going to be a "wind-blown" cart ..

Got my first "ding" on the way to the Camaro Fest in GA. We were on I95 doing about 70 MPH and this D$@! semi pulls in front of us and throw pebbles everywhere. I took one small hit on the small part of theleft hood and it bounced off and hit my roof. Both impacts knicked the paint..

Unfortunately, we live in a society filled with those who fall jealous/envious of what others have...

In your case, age that is, you will encounter several of these types of individuals based on that factor alone... I'm sure that these kids looked at you getting out of your car, a kid yourself, and said... "I wish I had that car".or.."Why can't I have a car like that"...

In their jealous rage, they felt by harming the car that this may relieve some of the jealous feelings they have towards not being able/willing to own such an item...

I feel that you will encounter far more greater acts of jealousy simply because of your young age...

Some will say that it's just a Wal mart parking lot thing that happens to everybody, but I think not... You will have to show a little more care in the presentation of your car, and yes it's not fair and shouldn't be, based on this factor...

Thats how I got my first ding
I park with the Walmart employees, they have a lot off to the side
of the store, nobody parks there but employees so far no issues. But I have had rude people at other locations park close to my car. WHY! Because I have something I am proud of they have to be jealous..Well they need to get a job and buy something they like and not be jealous of something someone else has.

You can't take a car like the Camaro to school. Way too many jealous punks who are too immature to have respect for other people's property.

This type of thing goes beyond jealousy (you have what I want), crossing the line to envy (I don't have it so you shouldn't either). Somewhere in their minds, they think they are "evening the playing field" by bringing you down to their level. Basically, they are they type that vent jealousy by being destructive (pulling others down), rather than being productive (raising themselves up).

I hope you figure out who did it and get justice. They've probably done stuff like this to other people too.

No really, don't take your Camaro to Walmart. Have a friend or your mom take you. That's what I'd do, if I had to go there.

I drove an LS1 Camaro for years and years and never had any issues like this, but it does happen. The positive is that they didnt steal it, break into it, etc. its just silly damage that can be fixed.
