I'm sure once they get the licensing sorted out they will probably make the SSes in red and white, and make the RSes as well.
I do like the Bowtie Delete that BackinBlackSS/RS has done to his car as well. It might be something for me to do until the red SS is available. I am waiting to hear back from Revolution Styling about their SS, but I am guessing that if they aren't having licensing issues then they will probably make you buy one of their performance packages to get one. I don't have $2000 lying around to void my GM warranty with. |

Still waiting for Revolution to get back to me with an answer after 6 days. They've replied a few times, but no actual word yet on if they have them and how much they cost.

Licensing is the major issue here. Most vendors on here recognized that policy and if they do have the product available - you wont hear about it on this site. If they advertise unlicensed merchandise on this site there are consequences. Your best bet is to take your stock SS or RS emblems to a machine shop and ask a manager if they can reproduce that for you. You also have to take them the emblems you want to replcae so they can get the angles right. I did this in my town and several shops are willing but it will be pricey. Upwards of 500-700 dollars for all the prep work and the actual production for a front and back matching 5th gen SS emblems.

I have been looking everywhere for he SS logo to replace the Bowtie. The love the Camaro but the bowtie just looks out of place. My Car is still at code 3400. So I will not get it for a few weeks.
I am going to try to use the following method for the front logo. I have already ordered parts and will let you know how it goes. Buy Logo Pad at http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/cam...le-insert.html Buy Logo at ebay from Mr Remote. part# 15211285 (Impala Logo) Glue logo to logo pad and trim away extra pad material. I mainly want the Pad to get the clips. I may also have to bend the logo a bit to make it fit the grill. You can see a good picture of the logo on GMD69 Car of the week. He has the Logo on the rear of the car. He also has one bad ride. |

To the OP:
I'm waiting for the true 5th gen SS emblems to come out (if ever). You will notice that if you compare the 5th gen SS emblems on your car from the factory to the emblem in the pic you posted, they look completely different. The sides of the "S"s are slope and the emblem has depth to it (its not flat). If someone gets permission and can replicate the OEM 5th gen SS emblem (scale up sizes and bend in middle for grill/trunk fitment) then thats what I after. They'll make a shit ton of money too. Im using the emblems from a trailblazer SS (door) for now because they appear to be the closest match, cheap, readily available from dealerships and because I hate the bowties (stock, painted, vinyled or otherwise). See the link in my sig for pics
