Yes...my hair does look weird. I was wearing a visor which jacked it up. Don't

Love my hatch. Hate the fact that I can't "secure" stuff in my vehicle in a trunk. If I have my police stuff in my car and it gets stolen, it's all on me. If it's in the trunk and gets stolen, it's a little different (in a sense). I like the fact that I'm finally going to have a trunk. Security is much nicer. However, if someone wants in the trunk, all they need to do is break into the car and fold down the rear seat...BAM! Access to the trunk...

And yes...you can get golf clubs in there easily.

Quick question for those that were at Indy and could see the trunk up close....in the pockets where the trunk hinges/struts drop into, was there a drainhose or something that would funnel the rain runoff out of the car?

You have to admit though GOlf Clubs will not fit thru the cubby hole in the back .. If I fold down the front seat and push it all the way to the front, roll down the passenger side window I may be able to fit my 88-key Yamaha keyboard in there. However like Golf Clubs in a golf bag, it is not convenient and it is not an easy fit. Especially if it has to go over the door with the front seat folded down at an angle to fit. Pulling it out would be a little trickier...I can see people scratching the back side of their front seats..

If you get to see the car at an auto show and have them open the trunk for you, it is impossible to get a standard size suitcase thru the back.. Trust me on this one.. You have to go thru the front side door which is a pain if your suitcase is heavy.. A bendable duffel bag would be able to fit thru the hole..

Hello all,

Any of those that have seen the car know if you could easily fit a 2x12 guitar amplifier through that trunk opening? I would like to believe that this car would be more convenient than my cobalt coupe...

...Great forum btw.

That depends on how your gear is packed and how much of it you have. I managed to persuade the workers at the Miami auto show to open and measure the trunk opening for me (this was the red RS they had there). The results were: 34" wide (In the widest part--the back)/15.5" deep. It will be a tight squeeze for my hardware bag, but after measuring, I think I can get that bag (which is really a large golf bag) through that; getting it back out might be more challenging. If I have to, I'll take a few stands out or use 2 smaller bags to get it in there and I'll just have the bass drum ride shotgun like I do with my G35. It will suck no matter what, but I'm used to that already; LOL.

typical gm, they build a great car. And forget the liveable details, nobody on the design team plays golf? WTF? GM, you deserve to go belly up cause your a bunch of retards. I really hope it doesn't. But really? How does a company build a car for late 20's to 40 or 50 year olds and not allow for golf clubs to fit in the trunk?

they'll fit, you just have to slide the bag length-wise into the trunk instead of just tossing them in

Heck, with the fold down seats, I'm betting you could fit 3 bags in
