Any muffler shop will do it. They just cut your overweight mufflers off and put a pipe.

not any muffler shop, I called 2 shops and both of them did not know what I was talking about. I went to a shop that was recommended on the forum. Call around to different shops.

Any muffler shop can do it. Just tell them what you want done.

Simply tell them to remove your mufflers and replace them with pipe.

I told them that, one could hardly speak english so I do not think he understood. The other was West Coast Corvette/Camaro and he said I had to buy an exhaust and they could not do it.

What they in fact told you was they are not exhaust shops.

This is the most simple job to do..... if they can't do it then they should close their doors.

As for the shop that had an employee that deals with the public and can't speak english...... you have to laugh at that business model.

Just did this to mine and it sounds WAY better than stock. Just a hold over till I get my headers and exhaust but best $100 I've spent on car yet.

Pretty much any muffler shop will do this and will have you in and out within an hour.

Here's why a Muffler Shop in California would not remove the mufflers from a car unless it's to install new ones...

Well thankfully I've never known a shop in Texas to care about installing aftermarket mufflers, cutouts or removing stock mufflers
