You have to paint them otherwise it looks like a baddd two-tone paint job. Just look at the people with orange car with them not painted, doesn't look good or complete

also look at pictures of the GFX from the rear. You will notice some are installed with the top center of the facia higher than the left and right ends (higher compared to the bumper 'deck' just below the license plate.) I have never seen the directions on how to install it but I would guess it's suppose to appear 'level' all the way across when compared to that deck..... I intend to send my dealer pics of the level and not-so-level to be sure he understands how I would like it done......(anyone else notice this?)

Since your car is black I say paint them. I didn't paint them on my rally yellow because I like the contrast.
