Here are the pics I promised. I'n not sure if I want to replace out the high beams as well, or just smoke them dark to blend with the cars paint. I like the fact of making the car look like its only got 2 eyes instead of 4. But I'm undecided right now and will probably end up going both routs eventually.

well since im too lazy to reread the entire thread, is there any cutting or drilling involved with this conversion that would render you incapable of reinstalling the original headlights?

1 being easy 5 being hard i'd say 2

I was wondering if it would be easy to change the color of the halos. I would like to do this but I would like red halos. I know its illegal but I will have a special switch inside the car that will turn the halos on and off when I want.

Depending on where you live, blue is illegal too (it is here, for example) on any non-emergency vehicle.

I'm looking into the possibility of doing this mod, but I'd need to make the halos white instead of blue.

P.S. - I'm thinking of trying it with these: http://www.amazon.com/Hella-H7102005...=pd_sim_auto_1 - they look to be about the same dimensions, but they're white halos and a clear lens instead of the blue.

i used the hella optilux 2500 lights, white halos and halogen lights so legal everywhare, and a little but cheaper too

it was a tight fit as these are bigger, 4in diameter lights
