Flaco? He is also the QB for the Baltimore Ravens.

I think thats a fat guess... i doubt it would be barely in the low 12's.

ill find out eventually but i think the E/T will be lower than your guess with some good tires.

What are the 2011 GT500's putting down to the wheels on average?

Somewhere around 500?

Cars are only a few pounds apart now with the 500 being lightened. With 528rwhp he would win (all things being equal) I am guessing. But it would be a close race....

A simple tune on a GT500 would put it ahead of a strong h/c LS3 I would think....you get what you pay for.

You are missing much more in your benchracing attempt. Gear ratios & torque curve will also play a major role.

And aerodynamics. And traction....and blah blah blah

Dude...I wasnt going for an all out evaluation of both cars. Give me a break.
I was just taking a quick look at the numbers to get a rough estimate.

You dont think I realize this?

All in all....looking at all the data. I still think a 530rwhp ls3 5th gen would have an edge on a stock gt500.

Hmmm, Flaco tune (lean) and Gordo Car (heavy) make for a dangerous combination.......... GT500 FTW

GT500 has a flat ass torque curve... An LS3 that put down 530rwhp on stock cubes must have a gutless torque curve.

Good kill op, you should be a lot quicker than a stock or close to stock 04. That's an impressive setup you've got, sounds like a lot of fun! What are you running ET/trap wise?

LOL at the post you just made then deleted a second ago saying that the cobra couldn't outrun a 5th gen and had a 5.4 s/c. He didn't say anything wrong, at all. Good job on that ninja-delete, but it didn't go completely unseen
If it's an 03-04, I believe those had a 4.6 with better heads and the s/c of course.

I would actually give the edge to the GT500 especially with the performance package. C&D weighed in their GT500 PP at 3740 pounds, isn;t an ss over 3900 generally? That's 150+ pound difference, then the GT500s torque curve, better gearing and that wonderful available performance p[ackage that makes it so much worse LOL. And we are still comparing stock GT500s against the Camaro which is honestly more than mildly modified.

Good kill to the OP though, those Terminators are pretty nasty. I've raced a couple of them, didn't put "car lengths" on them but won by a couple car lengths both times. When you get that blower on you will be absolutely destroying shit. I have a lot of respect for those Terminators but I also have a lot of repsect for those LS motors as well...

4.6 eaton SC, I believe it was fully forged and ready for whatever you wanted to throw at it. That car and is still such a beast.

more than just better heads. dont think of it as a better 4.6 gt. its a whole different animal that just happens to also be 4.6.

That DOHC 4.6 that came out of Ford for the 2003-2004 Cobra was the strongest motor ever mass produced out of Detroit. At least in the pony/muscle car segment.

That motor was/is phenomenal.
