I see that the supercharger by GMPP is only available to manual Camaros and it is more for the true muscle car enthusiast. Big engine, manual transmission more of a racing engine.

The L99 automatic car is more for your girlfriend that wants to look cool, but doesn't really want a true muscle car experience...ie. shifting like the big boys...

Dude. Your manual tranny has a syncronizxer in it. It basically 'finds' the hole for you. And you are proud of that. You believe it's HARD to push a clutch and slide a shifter?

Everyone is comparing transmissions. Which is apples to oranges.

There is more that is different than just the tranny. The motor and gearing are different. Which means a lot, and there is a reason the motor and gears are different.

When I can drink my morning cup of Joe and shift in traffic on a M6, I will consider it.

Paddle shifting is way better and the girls like it. You get the best of both worlds, uber modern, and the chics dig it!

...says the owner of an automatic

Curious that you never have to defend your choice when you have a manual as it's...the real deal!

But they don't have a manual so they must not be real men.

I drove an 18 wheeler for years. Where YOU have to find the gear slot, (speed to rpms) in order to shift gears. NO syncronizer. Raise and lower the engine speed to shift.

It just makes me laugh when I hear someone talk about being 'Manly' to shift gears in a car. It's not even true shifting. It freaking basicaly does it for you, and everyone somehow thinks it's a skillfull thing. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I chose the auto for the remote start and because the thrill was gone shifting gears a long time ago.

Do real men also have to roll their own windows down???
Do real men also have to make 7 full rotations on their rotary phones to make a call???
Do real men also have to hand write their own letters rather than use a keyboard for email???
Do real men also have to carry their own dictionaries rather than use spell-check???
Do real men also have to buy encyclopedias rather than "google" a subject online???

I DIDNT THINK SO!!!! Get with the times people..... technology is all about progress.

As an earlier poster said..... if Ferrari is no longer making manual transmissions.... that's gotta tell you something....

oh yes that Europeans are the stereotype for real men...

All I'm saying is that when people look in my car and see 6M they say, 'wow, you even got a manual!' They don't say, 'wow, you should have got an automatic so your wife could drive it'
