Thanks! I've had it on since March and really like it. I saw a sticker one and it was not holding up as well. It came from Darrell at www.hoodplates.com. He is super nice and will put anything on it you want. I do need to tell you I recently found out he is not GM licensed, so I'm not sure if he is still making them or not!

Is the Camaro the only car he makes them for?

I don't really know, his email is sales@hoodplates.com and his name is Darrell. I see he is doing display stands now too.
Wanted to thank all the H&H employees for the fantastic show they put on every year, I know it must be a ton of work, John must have to take two weeks off afterwards. Just removing all your dealer cars must be a big job. And the clean up, OMG! You are all very gracious in opening up your facility to all of us. Sounds like Jeff is moving up in the world, congrats to him!

Really enjoyed the H&H show Sunday. Still can't bring myself to take the Camaro. For whatever reason these shows feel like something I wouldn't bring a new car too. I've done some dressing and substance work on my Camaro (with more mod's to come) but it just seems weird to me. But I do love taking my 65' Corvette.....big attention getter and a ton of fun to drive (not the same fun as my Camaro but still fun).

I talked to the kid with the red Camaro Lambo doors.....did all the work himself on those doors and it shows a bit, but the kid is studying car mods and seems jacked to start doing it. Gonna do it for some others apparently. He's already getting set to change his striping....gotta give him credit for not being afraid to do any damage to his car!

Personally all the Camaro's are nice, but I still love what I have best :-).....just don't think I need to show it off when it is something many people can buy. Not everyone can get a 69' Camaro, or an old fastback Corvette. In my mind old cars are things to show off. I love my camaro and always enjoy chatting with camaro owners at the shows, but just don't see the fun in showing the new as much as the old.

I showed my Vette in Fremont and the guy who won for modern muscle was the white/orange SS camaro. I've got neighbor's with better Camaro's and mod's than him, but they just don't show their car's...they drive them and clean them. Still haven't seen a supercharged one, but in the shop that takes care of all my muscle cars I have seen at least a dozen Gen5 camaro's with some sweet mod's.....that's why I don't show I guess....because I know there are some sweet rides out there that never show. My little cold air induction, flowmaster axle-back, and chrome dressing in various places isn't much....not like these other guys.

Wow I'm long winded when it's late....night...

I was at the H&H show too, white SS with the white engine cover, and I have to agree with 8kids2hummers1camaro that it seems wierd to bring a 2010 camaro to a car show. If I had a 60's or 70's muscle car I'd bring it every time. Fortunately I think the 2010 camaro's are still new enough that they garner some attention. In a year or two that won't be the case. All the more reason to supercharge it right? Make it stand out from all of the others. Then again I could put that money towards some of the sweet Bel Airs I saw Sunday. Nostalgic.

Renee,

Thanks for the kind words! It is a lot of work to get everything ready and then to clean up and move them back! Its 100% worth it tho. We have just as much fun as the spectators!

8kids2hummers1camaro

While I agree with you on the older gen cars at the show to me they are more appealing to look at. However not all people are able to afford to redo a older car. So to me seeing anyone taking pride in the vehicle they drive.....I can dig that! I had one of the least cool cars there (07 Trailblazer SS) but I'm proud to show it off....along with my 87 monte Carlo SS. Please dont think this is coming off as angry or upset its not at all. Its hard to read emotion through text lol

While the kid with the Lambo doors, style is not my thing. I give him a lot of credit for working on it like you said! Me being a do it myselfer I can appreciate that!

Did you have your vette at our show? If so which one was it?

Thanks a bunch for coming to the show!!

2K10ss4me

Thanks for coming to the show! I really liked the white car with the white engine cover! It looks classy! And yes Supercharge it! I know the owner of a Maggie dealership pretty well so If you are looking for a good deal let me know and I can get you intouch with Joe!

That's right boys, it is a free country and we fortunately get to have our own opinions and do what we want to do as long as it is not to the determent of our fellow citizens..i.e. see Bill of Rights, Constitution, stuff like that. So in other words you ain't goin' keep me away from car shows and enjoying the whole experience, and I will never knock anybody else's efforts in pursuing the right to happiness!
My apologies if I sound a little testy, that weather alert radio in the bedroom is going through the window the next time!

It was awesome seeing so many Camaro 5 members in Kearney, hope everybody enjoyed it. Did any of you guys run your cars at the drag strip? I didn't make it out there at all this year.

I've felt the same way about bringing a newer car to a show. I've stopped by Culver's here in Lincoln a few times and H&H was the first show I've been to. I felt the H&H show was a good one to go to with a new car since it feels like I'm helping advertise

I still have a lot of people ask me questions about it, want to look at the interior, and still are interested in seeing it. And like 2K10ss4me said, I'm sure that will die off soon.
But as long as people are interested, I'm cool with that.

I get a lot of comments on the sound too, even the guy parking me at H&H told me it sounds great, people love the lope

BTW, I'm currently looking for a second job so I can do some more mods

Glad to hear that the H&H Show was a hit! I have heard many great things from friends. I hope everyone was able to meet a guy named Carter who was representing GM Accessories, he sure knows how to make a person want some great pieces for their vehicles.

It somewhat saddens me to hear that some owners believe that their cars aren't worthy of a show. You paid the money for your Camaro, and most owners have done atleast one small thing to make their Camaro different. FACT IS: PEOPLE LOVE THE NEW CAMARO! Show them off.

That is why I am going to continue to invite each of you to attend the Chase County Corvette Classic on August 21st. The show is for NEW and OLD Corvettes and 5th Generation Camaros! There are trophies just for the Camaro Class and many other great perks. How about CCR playing on August 20th, or Rodney Atkins Playing on the night of the 21st after the show?

Visit www.harchelroadmotors.com for more information.

Dillon!
