You want a sports car, go to Nissan and get the 370.
It sure as hell isn't a sedan You know that could be an argument but, if you ask the average person there gonna say it's a sports car. So whats a G8GT or G8GXP or better yet a Caddilac CTS-V- A sedan/muscle car

It just makes me laugh when I hear someone talk about being 'Manly' to shift gears in a car. It's not even true shifting. It freaking basicaly does it for you, and everyone somehow thinks it's a skillfull thing. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I chose the auto for the remote start and because the thrill was gone shifting gears a long time ago.
HA, well said.

Back when I learned to drive, I remember learning clutch control on a hill (which is part of the test in the UK) was a pain. These days you don't even need to get that right as so many cars don't roll back on a hill anyway (like my Bimmer for example).

I'm with you on the remote start too. Just moved to Texas, and I'd love to get the A/C going a minute or so before I get in the car. Especially when the temp gets to 100!

Actually, in true terminology, a car with no B pillar is a coupe. A car with a B pillar is a sedan. At one time there were full size 2 door caddies, pontiacs, chevies, fords, mopars, all were called coupes (no B pillar). Chevy had a '61 Impala 2 door sedan (B pillar). The Camaro concept had no B pillar, hence, a coupe. OMG! the 5Gen has a B pillar! What do it mean? It's actually a 2 door sedan! But you bet your a$$ I'll call it a coupe.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_car

CTS-V is considered a sports sedan. In all actuality you can ask 5 different people about what they consider a "sports" car and possibly get 5 different answers.

If we could get a Moderator to merge all of these threads into one, and stick it....there would probably be nothing left to say.

IMHO, the original definition of a muscle car was an everyman's drag race capable car. Great at going very fast, very quickly, in a straight line.

A sports car requires a bit more agility, and can handle around the corners.

The original Camaro/Mustang/Challenger... they were muscle cars... they were not designed for agility.

The current Corvette - definitely a sports car, as it can handle the corners very well.

Personally? I'd say the Camaro is a much closer cousin to today's Corvette than the old-school Camaro... in all aspects, cornering included.

3 cars-3 purposes
Mine: HHR- Daily driver/winter beater. As such hauls groceries, drive to work. Definitely an automatic, easier in traffic (+ has remote start for winter)
Mine: Camaro 2SS M6-Need I say more other than I already have an automatic car if I need to pick my nose and drive at the same time.
Wife: Avalanche Z71-She likes comfy trucks. What can i say?
