Borla ATAK Issues??

Hello, I recently had the ATAK installed, and love the sound, but I noticed today a warbly noise coming from predominantly the passenger side. My initial concern was piston slap, but I popped the hood and it sounded like the engine was running smooth and quite. I was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with there Borla exhaust systems, broken baffle's etc. Thanks C5 fam

check all the exhaust connections, make sure the band clamps are positioned corretly and torqued to 65 ft-lbs. those band clamps like to leak!

Straight through mufflers, so I doubt a baffle issue. I'd look more for a contact point some where or leak. Are the mufflers close to anything under the trunk area. Check the chassis brace underneath. The sheet metal brace that is under the exhaust mid car. Sometimes that can be too close to the exhaust.

Sometimes after a day of driving, exhausts may shift a bit and need to be realigned/retightened. Feel around the joints for a leak and recrank those tight too.

Wat kind of sound is it i had put on my atak about a week ago and when i first started it like very small drops of this foggy white liquid was dripping very slightlY so wat happens if it leaks a lil and how do you position the clamps the right way i tightened the screws as physically tight as i could by hand

You are most likely hearing the exhaust pipes hitting the center cross brace under the car. Check to make sure you have good clearance between the pipes and the cross brace. If not they should be adjusted up to get good clearance.

You are probably hitting your tunnel brace, happens to a lot of people with aftermarket exhaust. Just throw some washers there, or buy a new one because the factory tunnel brace is cheapo!

Your exhaust probably is hitting the tunnel brace. This seems to be a common problem. Mine did it too. I think the problem is that people are not raising the exhaust pipes high enough before they tighten the clamps. After doing this, mine has not rattled against the tunnel brace. There should not be a need for washers or spacers on the brace. This is what I have noticed on mine anyway.
