lol so so so true.

I'd say true for about 50% of people who drive a manual lol.
If the car goes from point A to point B... who the H3ll cares lol.

Cars like the Camaro and Mustang already have the power and torque....who needs to shift them? Just sit back relax and hit the gas.

Manuals can be fun but I'd get an auto these days.
+1. I agree completely. I love going through the gears on my ZX10R... but when it comes to driving the camaro... the auto is nice. I mean it has 3 modes. Want auto?... go auto. Want manual?... go manual.

Yet the L99 that I drove was slow as balls compared to the LS3 that I bought.

Ok, that sequel was hilarious. LMFAO.

That said, I agree with what PQ said. Personally, I don't plan on buying another automatic vehicle unless A) I'm physically forced to because I can't drive stick anymore, or B) a stick isn't available, like on the silverado. Not because I think all cars have to have stick, or that automatics aren't good for performance, but because I find it more fun to drive a stick than to drive an automatic.

Dunno on the action of a stick on a newer car but in general a stick is safer in yr round driven sports cars cause you can engine brake in a panic stop, which is great in the rain or winter. Leave it in 5th and hit the brakes, the engine lag will do most of the stopping.
