That's their new approach to passenger side dash of the redesigned interior in the 2012 models???

Glad to see these photos...reminds me of all the spy shots from before the 2010's were released.

Looks like I'll be able to pick up a used SS for cheap in a year or two when everyone upgrades to the Z28...Thanks GM!

Calipers

Those look like the same 6 piston Brembo calipers as my 09 Cts-V (minus the V logo sticker). Looks like more than one cool feature will be borrowed from the Cadillac.

Ok, I think this is cool! However, how many of you saying you want one, already have as much power/TQ as it will have? I mean, the same SC is already available, so is it really worth it to sell your 2010/11 for the warranty of the Z28?

Or, is it that you just HAVE to have the Z28? Curious...would probably be cheaper just to install the same SC that's currently for sale...and you know you will probably be able to install the same front fascia...etc...

It doesn't seem to be the hype should be so huge...but, again, it's cool it's been spotted...we'll see what she turns out like in the end.

I guess all I'm saying is I thought they did such a great job in '07 when the C6 Z06 came out by making it look MEAN and special compared to a base Corvette. I was hoping for some similar treatment for the Z28. The wide flares for the rear wheels especially made that car look special IMHO.
It shouldn't matter if the general public can tell the difference between the SS and the Z. A true car fan will know. Hell, a lot of the people now don't know the difference between the LT and SS. It's crazy how many people ask "Is that the one with the big engine?" Don't worry if people can distinguish between the two. You know and that's all that matters.

I doubt it will start that cheap...you can spend $45K on a 2SS loaded, with 21" wheels...

We made those wheels... They are the SP550 anodized black.. No they didn't give us specifics on the car, ie 2012 or Z28.. So please don't ask, I don't know... But I do know what size wheels, 20x10 front and 20x11 rears.
