New Garage for the New Car a 2010 Camaro

I was just wondering if anyone else is planning on getting a new garage or their old one rebuilt to house their new Camaro. I'm asking because I plan on getting a new garage built and having it insolated, dry wall put up, some neon signs put up and hopefully rubber flooring put in so that it will be ready for the Camaro. You think I'm going overboard here?

I don't think you are.

I am clearing out the 3rd bay and re-arranging most of my garage for the Camaro.

Now if you put in some overhead mood lights and a stereo in the corner playing some Marvin Gaye -- That would be overkill.

Actually I am putting an addition on. It is a 2 car garage and bedrooms above it. So I will have a 2 car garage for the camaro and motorcycles, and a 2 car garage for the wives car and misc BS.

I bought and installed hooks in the garage ceiling last week to hang up the bicycles . I feel like an expectant parent getting the baby's room ready.

How wide will the Camaro be? With the Rear Views extended, will it be wider than a F150 truck?

You need to do this.

I put some forged pop ups on the ends of some 1" dia threaded ceiling fan downrods and used it for hanging checkered flag curtains in my son's room. Brackets and rings were purchased at JC Pennys. I did not even need to thread the pistons. You can also use 3/4" NPS with pipe threads on the ends as it is a close match for the OEM piston pins. Regular pipe couplings can be used to join the pipes together in the middle if you have a long span. USE TOGGLE BOLTS! to attach the brackets - this stuff is HEAVY!
